“Located near the center of the city next to a kids park in a basement. Inside it looks, well like an old time basement/brewery with nice brickwork, arches, some copper kettles and nice dyevushkas in beermaiden dresses. The walls are fitted with large TV screens which are always showing one sports channel or the other. Food is excellent, I would recommend the ribs or the German steak with egg but like in most places in Ukraine, stay away from the sausage platter since teh sausages are way off my usual Central European favorites. They have their own brews Pale and Brown, both unfiltered. I would go for the Brown one. Both are solid but Brown is just much better in my opinion. Warsteiner and Guinness are also on draught if I remember correctly. The downside is that the place is not very large and pretty packed with tables so it can get crowded very easily and the worst part is the service. Waitresses just don’t want to move... I’ve been here a couple of times and always had to wait for the check at least 15 minutes and sometimes the same time for them to take my order. Menu is in English but I don’t think the staff speaks any.“
