“Fantastic craft beer store. Large range, many unusual beers, many styles. Only a few I'd seen on my travels. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They also carry a few brewing essentials with a good range of foil packed hops, a few malts etc. Good range of glassware too! Took a box away from here that was so large it was a struggle to get it to the hotel! :)“

“Berthom, is doing something right. Been to a couple of their places now, and it is great to see, a pub chain with a clear goal to bring in a nice range of beer styles. Most of the beers available on tap are Belgium mainstays. But there is enough special beers to satisfy most. The pub has a nice set up for outside and a cool and cozy interior. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were good.“

“Excellent shop in Nancy. Staff was friendly, very knowledgeable, and spoke English. Selection was great for a somewhat small shop. Euro beer stock had some Belgian classics, and other well-known continental brands. But the part I enjoyed was the French beers, which they were glad to introduce without forcing them on me. France came late to the micro brew game but is rapidly making up for it. I came in with an empty case and left half full of French beers (mostly Sainte Crucienne) and the rest high end European beers.“

“Boutique plus que respectable, avec un choix de bières important pour la surface allouée (roulement en fonction des arrivages et de la place disponible). De plus, les deux tenants sont sympathiques et rarement avares de conseil. Le plaisir de faire découvrir avant tout, un lieu par et ou des passionnés ou en devenir! S’ajoute aux bières, goodies et services, la possibilité de participer a des "tables rondes" dégustation ou autres évènements fort sympathiques.“

“The store had a very kind and knowledgeable owner. The selection was excellent; lots of craft beers from Europe and America. In addition to bottles, the store also sold growler fills, t-shirts, glasses, and brewing supplies. I thought the prices were lower than most bottle shops in America and Germany, especially for the Belgian and French beers. La Capsule is a great one stop shop for all your beer needs. It is worth a visit!“

“The service might be the strongest point of this store, though the selection is pretty good too. The owners do a great job combing Belgium and France for the better craft brewers, but there’s also a lot of American/Danish/Scandinavian beers and other regions represented. Prices were a tad higher than what I’m used to in Belgium.“

“Friendly, cool, hipster type pub on the main drag, that doesn’t open until mid afternoon and later. Excellent range of beers that is often changed, there was a good range of Estonian beers on our visit. Attracts a young crowd. The best there is to offer in Nancy.“

“Busy corner cafe in the entertainment part of Nancy. There are 2 floors to this, the top seeming to be the hang out for students and very popular too, the lower and outside being mainly for locals by the looks. Small beer list, the bottles being mostly Belgian. Worth a peek if close by.“

“Large, friendly fake Oirish bar near Place Carnot, where the buses and trams drop off. Really handy all day place, the Irish element appears to be Guinness and a few Leprachauns dotted around. The beer list is relatively small, mostly Belgian Chouffe varieties but the enthusiastic bar staff really want to help. Would visit again on the off chance that I return to Nancy.“

“This is a rather up itself Restaurant in the gastronomique part of Nancy. A simple enquiry into whether it was possible to just try the beers rather than dine was met with such scorn and derision that our next move, which was to dine there was completely forgotten. Never will we return here.“

“Compact bar in the church square within what seems to be the entertainment area for Nancy. Busy and thriving it seems the best bet for a day time beer hunt. The menu doesn’t cover the beers they are currently selling, I was able to go to the fridge, found on the left, towards the toilet area and look for myself and found a few gems. Well worth a visit if in Nancy as most of the main beer bars open late.“

“If I were marking this as a restaurant it would score very highly indeed. This is arguably the only mediaeval Polish-regional French fusion cuisine restaurant in the world. Hence the 9.5% ABV Baltic Porter on the interestingly compiled list of 15 bottled beers that set it apart from the sixty other restaurants in the town centre. Highly recommended as a place to go but not primarily for beer.“

“Traditional - no, let’s be honest for a change - scruffy pub 100 metres off St Epvre’s square, Irish from the outside and Belgfian from within. No bières artisanales du region because they are too expensive - I kind of get it. No food either. But there is a decent range of mostly Belgian beer and in due course I have no doubt French will join. Second best in Nancy that I could find.“

“I am amazed I am the first to rate this. It’s been going for several years and is Nancy’s staple beer bar with 150-ish beers. Nice place, middle class cool but oh dear me, the beer list. A masterpiece of bland kitsch. If this was music it would be the Eurovision song contest. Trappistes and St Bernardus is as daring as it gets, plus Rodenbach Grand Cru and Caracole. Remarkably little from French micros but a torchbearer nonetheless and worthy of support and direction.“

“The best beer selection of any bar in Nancy currently, as far as I know. Expensive but only like every other decent beer bar in France. Part of a small chain. No food and remarkable few French bières artisanales. Mostly Belgian and brewDog, but quite a clever range, including Cazeau, Bastogne, Senne and Lindemans Cuvée René. La Debauche is the French find.“

“Great website. Many beers form french/belgian/american breweries. I ordered beers from Prairie Artisan Ales and The Bruery. A bit expensive. But I guess this is fair. Many beers are out of stock. Fast delivery. 3 days in France. Great service. Robust/secure cardboard boxes. Free shipping if you order more than 100 euros.“

“New twists on the regional 18th century Stanislas recipes. The food and service was so exceptional we had lunch and dinner here. Our server Jonathan, spoke excellent English (we speak no French), and was very knowledgeable on the food, wine and beer. Between the two meals we had 3 different white wines, and two beers from a local brewery (Grenaille IPA and Savage 2). The meals were a Scallop with Seafood Pierogi, a Char dish, Veal checks, and stuffed pork. We live just across the border in Germany and will definitely go back to Nancy especially to visit A la table du bon Roi Stanislas and Jonathan.“

“very awsome webshop . learned it from dennoman, i believe . often, raritys can be found here . and stuff that is sold out elsewhere . very quick delivery ( to belgium within days ) and very, very good prices. onley downside ? their packaging is extremely safe, but you’ll have to clean your house when you unpack it . dust , and freaking piecves of cut cardboard EVERYWHERE . but its all part of that jolly outpacking thing you get , when you receive allk this beauty ! one of my favourite webshops for sure“

“I stopped in recently as I was passing through town and left quite impressed! Very helpful and friendly service plus a small store packed with quality beer. They have a 4 tap growler station that currently had a Kuhnhenn beer on! Plenty of nice lambic choices and a breadth of Belgians in general. Some nice French beers from the area as well as US, UK, Scandanavian and Dutch beers. It’s not real close to me but I will certainly stop in if I am anywhere near and next time I will bring an empty growler!“

“Une des meilleur cave à bière de France! Les prix sont abordables (comparés à d’ autres caves) et il y a 1 large choix de bières (et pas que des bières belges) dont beaucoup d’ IPA et des bières locales (comme quoi en France, on sait aussi faire parfois de la bière séveremment houblonnées ;) ) Et le propriétaire est très sympa :)“

“Some interesting stuff available here which you really won’t see much elsewhere. Good cross-range from the big EU craft breweries as well as US stuff. This includes obviously some French craft. Things can be quite pricey I feel – still manageable because you will pay similar prices elsewhere. It is more of a situation of them selling expensive craft rather than selling craft expensively. Service was good – they were helpful with questions. Shipping went well – reasonable speed and good packaging.“

“Ordered four times now from them -- big (29+ kg) boxes of French micros from their excellent selection. Prices can be high for the US imports and some of the European craft brewers, but that is to be expected I guess -- they are just expensive bottles and beer isn’t cheap in France any way. They probably get their stuff via many middle man too. Luckily they offer interesting French stuff as well and it’s great to get shipping for ’free’ when ordering over 100 euro. Got the package quick every time. 1-3 business days. Very well packaged! Everything in perfect order. Guys (and girls?) add new beers regularly and keep their Facebook updated as well as have a newsletter. A webshop will never get the full appeal of a real shop, but they made a nice feel to their site. Got a free brew twice already, too. Will certianly order again, best webshop in France for sure (and I have tried a bunch).“
