88 /100 VIA VINCENZO BELLINI, 48
“A medium-sized sports bar type of place located in a safe part of Napoli. The serving area/bar is located immediately upon entry and is where most sit however there is limited seating at the rear of the area. On the night of my visit there were six taps and a hand pump, all serving Italian craft brewed. There were also about 140 bottle/cans that are mostly Italian craft brews plus a few Belgian and German brews - some are available cold while many are hot). Service was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are craft beer scene (€4/20cl, €6/40cl and €14/litre). Non-beer is spirits (mostly scotch and bourbon with about 40 different brands) but no cocktails. Definitely a place to visit, even if just for the range of brews.“

“A lively and popular place in a safe part of Naples. There is a small indoor taproom behind the street front and only outdoor seating for about 40 on the plaza. You pay at the taproom/bar entrance then get served by the friendly and helpful staff. There were 10 taps plus one English-style pump with a selection of Italian craft beers and the pouring methodology is entertaining based on the Netherlands style. There were four craft brewers represented plus two under the Mosto name. Glass sizes available are 20cl (at €5), 30cl (at €6) and 40cl (at €7). A great place to visit in Napoli for Italian craft beer.“

“Microscopic bar in the city centre, in an area rich of bars and restaurants. Several tables outside in the street (what do they do when it rains??) and a very lively atmosphere on my visit (on a Thursday night). Selection (on 9 taps) is comparable to the other Mosto (in the Chiaia area) I already reviewed, that is, fairly good. Overall, a nice choice in the area, but with logistics issues, given the complete lack of seating space.“

“Nice bar in the city centre of Napoli. The place is more relaxed compared to others in the city (like Oak or Mosto) and makes for more relaxing beer tasting. Selection is limited to 7 taps, if I remember correctly, but with nice heterogeneity, including a sour beer by Ca' del Brado, for which the bar is an ambassador.“

“The bar - one of three in the city by the same name - is very small but super lively. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, very limited seating capacity, with 90% of customers standing outside in the street. They have 9 taps, with a nice selection. On my second visit, I also had a nice bottle of sour beer from the fridge. Overall, one of the nice places to visit in Napoli for good beer.“

“Small but very vibrant beer bar in the city centre. Ambiance was great, full of happy people and, on my first visit, great 90s-00s hiphop music! :) Most people stand outside in the street. Service OK (it's a big chaotic in there). They had 9 taps, if I remember correctly. Good selection. Overall, my favourite place in Napoli.“

Versa (Bar)
VIA MEZZOCANNONO 103
“Relatively small beer bar in the city centre. Some space downstairs, and a tap room upstairs, with some more tables. When I visited, the place was almost empty, but it was almost closing time. Service was kind, with free popcorns. They have about 20 taps, but they use only half. Selection was pretty much a mix of beers from their affiliated brewery and another Italian brewery. Overall, nice, but too calm, even for me.“

“We visited shortly after opening so managed to find a table without queuing. Pretty large place with several rooms. About 20 beers available, mostly Italian craft (including Tipopils), but also some imports like Riegele. Pizza was very good, but not the best I've had in Italy.“

Bibendum (Bar)
VIA SANTA MARIA LA NOVA, 6
“Bar with a decent selection of craft beers. Not really a beer place, but they do have 5 taps and about 30 cans and bottles in the fridge, all Italian craft beers except couple of imports. Quite spacious downstairs, but also a patio outside. Friendly service. Not a must visit, but since Versa was packed this was a decent backup on a rainy evening.“

“Small bar with several tables inside, feels a bit cramped, but also cozy. 5 taps of Italian craft beer and about 50 bottles and cans. Friendly service. Certainly worth checking out if you're nearby.“

Versa (Bar)
VIA MEZZOCANNONO 103
“Nice place with 20 taps and about 30 bottles. Not all the tap were on, but all of them were Italian craft beers, bottles are mostly Italian with some Belgian beers. Spreading over two rooms can get quite crowded in the evening. Friendly service. One of the Italian beers was in very bad shape, others were good. Well worth checking out, one of the better places in the city.“

Decumano (Bar)
PIAZZETTA NILO, 17
“Located in the city center, doesn't look like a much of a beer bar. And it's not really. But it's opened whole day and one can find three beers from Birrificio Artigianale Napoletano on tap here. Enough to stay away from the rain for an hour or so.“

“Small place in the city center. They serve breakfasts and pastry, so a decent place for a quick snack. They have about 20 beers in the fridge, mostly Italian craft (no usual suspects) and couple of de la Senne and a To Ol impy. Unlike majority of other places in the city it's opened in the early afternoon and very convenient as a shelter from the rain. Friendly service.“

“Small hole in the wall place with a patio outside. 10 taps with 30-40 bottles and cans. OK for a quick stop, but not a big fan of the concept as such, lacking personal touch and ambiance.“

“Small to medium sized place. 6 taps and a hand pump alongside 120 bottles. Lots of interesting stuff, but also a good range of well known Italian breweries like Errante or Ca del Brado. Friendly service. One of the best places in the city for beer.“

“Located outside of main tourist routs in a nice and a bit different part of town. Very small place with few places to sit at. Six taps, mostly Italian and about 100 bottles, both Italian and imports. Some quality beers here. Very friendly service. Fermo pizza is around the corner so we brought some to the bar.“

“Small place in the city center. Patio outside. Gets very busy in the evening and it might be challenging to find a place to sit. 8 taps, mostly Italian, and about 50 bottles, managed to find one interesting Fantome I haven't seen at other places. Friendly service. Worth checking out.“

“Very few reviews here so I feel like contributing. Friendly service and nice selection for the size of the place. If you are in Quartieri Spagnoli and like (local) craft beer look no further. This is your place. Just watch out the locals driving past the pub. ;)“

Gran Gusto (Beer Store)
VIA NUOVA MARINA, 5
“A more "fancy" supermarket just off the main avenue through the centre of Napoli. It has a surprisingly large craft beer section - probably the best in the city with the exception of the best beershops. Some local - well and less known breweries, and some imported stuff from well known brands (Belgians, BrewDog, ...) Prices are typically Italian, not the best but could be worse.“

“Small place near Dante, not that it makes much difference as everyone is drinking and chatting on the street outside. 4 taps and at least 48 Italian beers on bottle, 17 local brews when I was there. Staff are friendly, music is cool, buzz is great, really excellent place.“

“Small bottle shop with 4 taps too , it’s located in a very nice area of Naples , visited during the post Covid Opening , so only plastic glass and only outside.. nice guy serving good selection of beers ( mainly bottles or cans) .. don’t know if they serve food or snack normally, but if not there is just next door a very good food store selling taralli or cooked dishes“

“Another busy and excellent pizzeria - also here you should expect to queue up (we registered with the attendant and then you're called when your table is ready). Surprisingly good selection of Italian craft beer (some German imports too, from Riegele, but not really interesting). Five beers on the menu from Birrificio Antoniano - and two of them made in collaboration with the restaurant. Busy place as other popular pizzerias in the city, but this has more restaurant feel too it. Great pizzas and a surprisingly interesting beer menu (at least for a pizzeria). Well worth queuing up for...“

“Excellent pizza place in the very center of Napoli. There is usually a (long) queue to get in, but the pizza is certainly worth it. Extremely busy place, but definitely worth visiting, mostly for the pizza, but they do have craft beer too - including one made especially for the place.“

“Located in a rather quiet narrow lane of the busy Centro Storico, this tiny and modern bar is small on size only. Five decent craft beers on tap, mostly local are complemented by an impressive 50+ selection of good and very good craft beers from Italy and other European countries.mVerybfriendly staff. Not exactly cheap but definitely decent.“

“Decent lil beer and wine bar just off of Via Toledo. They have 4 taps and a couple dozen bottles, unfortunately there were no really interesting beers upon my visit (an IPA, a pale ale, a pilsner and a tripel on tap) and the bottle selection wasn't too interesting either. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town, but nothing extraordinary tbh.“

“A nice lil bar near the metro on the outer skirts of Napoli. 4 taps (3 Italian and a British during my visit) and around a hundred bottles with a 70-30 ratio with the majority being international. Nice selection altogether, but the Italian scene seemed a bit underrepresented. The guy at the counter was super nice but not pushy and did know his beer. Cheers Antonio, and thanks for the free bottle again!“

“Right in the center of come to, away from the hotel of tourists tricked into getting the shittiest pizza. Grear beer selection. Good prices for the international stuff. Some difficult to find brews. Amazing team, Antonio is a great host. Tips: 20% off to takeaway, ask for food recommendations, gorizia is around the corner “

“Visited in February 2019. This small and cozy bar is nicely tucked away in a side lane, just on the outskirts of the historical centre, ca. 100 m from Dante station. Very nice and knowledgeable staff and an impressive selection of Italian craft beer. 5 taps and more than 50 bottles. Not expensive. Would love to be back again.“
