72 /100 937 US HIGHWAY 202 S I've passed by this place plenty of times and finally stopped by. Nice area ... looks like playground for kids outside and big outside area. Varying styles - just got 1 flight and found them to be all about average. |
82 /100 937 US HIGHWAY 202 S Visit Date 4/13/22
This place opened up after Thanksgiving 2021, and I just made my first trip. I say first, as I will definitely be back. Great hours for those who like early weekday activities - wish more places would adopt these hours. Great looking fancy barn setup, with a large bar, plenty of seating, and a wrap around porch outside. Big fenced in grass area where you can drink as well. View of the hop fields surround the place on most sides (and views of 202 on one side as well).
No food (NJ brewery laws), but they sell some standard snacks and you can BYO.
Beer-wise, they have a lot of styles, which is nice. 12 on my visit, most were solid, a couple were good. They also had a draft seltzer, 2 draft kombuchas, and even a tasty draft birch beer. Everything was served in 3 sizes (flight size, 12 or 14 oz, and a dimple mug / nonic size, depending on the style). Most (with a few exclusions) available in crowlers to go as well. On-line draft list is a photo of the current chalkboard and was up-to-date on our visit.
Really liked the place, it is especially suited for a 75 degree spring afternoon. and the beers are perfectly serviceable. Will definitely be back. |
