“Overlooking the wetlands of the River Dee estuary across to North Wales, this pub has quite a dramatic setting because of it, with a purpose built patio area offering views for miles across them. This is a Hydes pub with a chain style appearance on the inside, giving it an updated and decent atmosphere, although there's very little Hydes marketing done here given it's a Manchester brewer operating a pub on the cusp of Merseyside! There's a large car park on its land side, meals are served and it's beer selection will include a special or seasonal from the brewer.“

“Nice looking pub at the end of a promenade along the salt marsh. They have six cask ales, two of which are contract brewed for their small chain of pubs at Conwy brewery. Good place for a drink and a bit of food on a day out.“
