“I’ve had some of the beer on tap that the new guy brewed. I’m not here to give him a hard time because they certainly weren’t horrible and God knows he’s better than half of the idiots who try to homebrew on their days off, but tasting those offerings was also a bittersweet dose of reality for the simple reason it reminded me that David was/is capable of so much more flavor, character, variety and depth in his brewing. And for that reason I have mixed feelings about this spot. I’m almost never in Newmarket so coming here may not ever happen again - only time will tell at this point. What a waste.“

“A very nice tasting room. It is a new space, and a bit industrial. Softened nicely with lots of wood and a gas fireplace. A big sofa in front of the fireplace. Windows overlooking the brewing area. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Tastes to full pours are available. The beers are excellent! Only 10 minutes to UNH, where my daughter will be spending the next 4 years. i anticipate lots of growler fills as I pass by.“

“In a small strip mall, so plenty of parking. Charming town. Clean, modern tasting room. Bartender was both friendly and helpful. 9 beers on tap. Inventive in some sense... how often do you get three berliner weisses on tap in New England in one sitting? Beer quality ranged from good to excellent. However it seemed like the beer was in some ways too refined, too delicate and didn’t deliver on what was promised. Lacking something.. not body, but vigor. In the end though, it will be easy for anyone to find something to drink. They just don’t seem like things are quite dialed in yet. Prices were not bad .“

“Visited around 2:45 on a Sunday. They are in a strip mall area and have tons of parking available, throughout the spots directly in front of them are for another place. Inside is kind of small, but was more than enough. A couple couches and sevedal tables accompany the bar area. They had 8 beers on tap and 2 in bottles for offsite. 4 of 8 beers were sour or funky, a few pales, and a smoked porter were on tap. All were excellent. They appear to only do flights. Each pour is $1.50, so you can’t beat the price unless you get it for free. Very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. He could answer my questions quickly, plus it thrns out we have a mutual friend back in Ohio. This place is awesome. This is a must stop if in NH.“

“I’ve been to a lot of tap-rooms in my time and this is one of the highlights. We visited on a quiet evening. Lots of beer on tap. Lots to tick. Lovely range of styles. Nothing was off. No shortage of beer. Great ambience. Lovely brewery with gorgeous barrels on display for when you drink. The set-up is superb. A really nice vibe and crowd. Good background music. Nothing loud or pretentious. No lines. No bullshit. Just good beer and good times. Why can’t all tap-houses be like this? Excellent experience. Thanks David and staff. Awesome treatment.“

“Shiny, new brewery and tasting room tucked off the main street in Newmarket. There are big glass windows looking into the brew house and the fermenters (including some nice looking oak barrels), which is balanced by comfy chairs and a fireplace in the tasting room. There were about 8 or 9 of their beers on tap that ranged from goses and sours to APAs and porters, plus another three beers in bottles only. The owners are also the servers and they are friendly and passionate about what they make, and Dave the brewer is often walking around and chatting with patrons. They don’t have food, but they are sandwiched between two restaurants and are happy with whatever food people want to bring in. Overall, this is a comfortable, inviting tasting room staffed with great people and serving great beer. Worth a trip.“

“Very nicely displayed tasting room. 4 Oz. Samples are available before you fill your growlers. The owners are very friendly and passionate about their business and the beer community in general. MaryAnn and Frank always have nice mood music playing in the background as well. Currently they have 4 different bottled beers to go along with your growler fills. If you have not made it to the tasting room yet, I suggest you take some time and visit this place. I have visited 3 times and plan a fourth trip in the near future. Great beer! “

“In a strip mall that looks brand new at the edge of downtown Newmarket. Looks like a great walking town if I lived a little closer. Small bar takes up the right wall of the tasting room with windows on the far wall showing the shiny guts of the operation. Four beers were on tap for my visit available for tastings or in growlers to go. It wasn’t overly busy this Saturday, but the staff had everything under control. Great vibe and great brews, I plan a return trip soon.“

“Located in the historic downtown area of Newmarket, New Hampshire this place has some potential. It can be found in a small shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. When you enter the brewery you can see the fermenting tanks behind big glass windows at the back of the tasting room and some wooden barrels right up against the windows. To the right is the serving bar where they had four beers on tap. You order them one at a time. They didn’t provide a flight platter like most breweries but they do sell 5 ounce sized samples. Growlers were the 32 ounce kind, which I prefer. The tables are low to the ground, maybe three feet high and the benches are only about two feet off the ground. I felt like I was sitting at the kids’ table. Nice fireplace o the left. The brewer and server were friendly. You place your order for a growler on a slip of paper and they fill it in the order it was received.“

“Great live music venue that has a pretty decent draft list. They focus on local New England brews and sometimes have a small batch or limited release beer on. I wouldn’t make a special trip for it but In the New Market area, it truly is a nice spot for music and good beer. They have a small limited menu so you may need to eat before hand. I’ve been here at least half a dozen times, mainly when a good band is jamming!“

“Tiny grocery tucked in downtown Newmarket. Beer is in coolers in the back left corner of the store. Small and unpredictable selection that often includes a few bottles here-and-there of limited-run beers. Prices are average to slightly below for the area. Staff is more than willing to try and bring in special requests. A lot of times you’ll see hyped beers in the coolers that the regular customers have no interest in. Always worth a look if you’re nearby. I’ve found some exciting stuff from Allagash, Shipyard, etc hiding out in the coolers.“

“Great small music venue with a full bar and a recently improved kitchen and menu. Food has been fantastic - happy hour draft specials are all week long, 5PM-7PM. Great selection of draft beers for Newmarket. Live shows are awesome here.“
