“We stopped here on our journey from Iowa City to Wyoming for some gas, but it wound up being a pretty decent beer store. The buidling has two doors, one dedicated for the more common gas station convenience store items, and the other is all beer, wine, and liquor. There’s a beer cave, and the beer aisle is the closest to the parking area. There’s a decent selection of large-format bottles, with stuff from regional brewers (NE, IA, and less obvious CO), along with more national craft brands like Deschutes. There were some Nebraska and Iowa sours and other limited releases, along with plenty of regional options for a singles/build-your-own six-pack section. And then plenty of six- and 12-packs and cases. It’s nothing overly special, but for such a remote town, there’s plenty of good stuff to be had here. If you’re ever taking 275 on a swing through Nebraska (and I strongly recommend 275 and/or 20 as an alternative to I-80), this is a good stop to stock up on some unusual regional craft bottles.“
