“Solid brewery in Boston. Large taproom in a warehouse, large bar and plenty of seating. Outdoor as well I believe. Decent tap list and beers were pretty solid. Unfortunately I'm writing this review several months later and this place is not really sticking out! So I suppose it's not a stand out place but gets the job done if you're looking for a good beer.“

“I have been to other Yankee Spirits in Massachusetts and this felt like the smallest of the ones I have visited. It also felt like I was in some large storage building. I'm not sure if the ambiance was noteworthy but sometimes if you are on a beer quest the ambiance is secondary. Plenty of parking. This place also sells wine and liquor and the beer section is almost like an after thought. There were a few dusty bottles but I saw a wide array of international, national, regional, and local selections. I took home a couple of never-before seen-by-me beers. Their prices were reasonable and I suppose in the end that and a better than average selection are all that matters. Will I go back? Not on purpose but if I find myself in the area again I may check things out.“

“Located in Norwood which is not a place people typically take their holiday. It’a a fairly sizable taproom carves out of a warehouse brewery kind of setup. They had 12-14 beers on that were available on a range of sizes down to the 4-5 ounce size but for some strange reason they didn’t do flights per se but they would pour you 3 of the 4-5 ouncers at a time. The beer was solid but not spectacular which i think is an apt description of Castle Island.“

“The tap room itself is fairly large area with a bar with taps on one end. Filled with multple rows of 3 x 6 tables. The brewery itself can be seen in the far reaches but is separated from the serving area with a long wood counter. It was pretty filled to capacity when we arrived. Beer offerings are prominently displayed on TV screens above the bar whicj makes it easy to choose. Food was offered outside by a decent canteen truck and food could be brought inside. The night we went they were having a "Pig Bingo"(5$ per card) in which pork meat related products were won. It was moderately loud but the area was open enough so it wasn't overwhelming. There was also a separate retail area where you could buy cans, glasses and other related items. The beers were excellent and were offered in full pint, half pour or flight sized samples(prices varied). Being only 20 minutes from my house this will be a regular place to visit.“
