As Bryne pointed out, not much Lindheim here (but Vinmonopolet Bø has a very good selection)., but some from Fjellbryggeriet. Hardly a must visit, but worth checking out if passing by (just by the main road, down the hill from the city center).“ |
| 50 /100 Meny Tuven (Grocery Store) TUVENBØYGEN 2 “Located at Tuvensenteret just a couple of kilometer north of the city center of Notodden (by the main road E-134). A fairly usual selection of craft and semi craft both Norwegian and imported, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Meny store except for a couple of local/semi-local breweries - Fjellbryggeriet and Vinje Bryggeri. Nothing exceptional, but fairly good selection from those breweries (especially Vinje). Not really worth a detour, but worth checking out if passing by.“ |
| 82 /100 HAGENVEGEN 27 “A new Norwegian cidery I had to visit. Not far from Lindheim Ølkompani where I came from. I had been in contact by SMS in advance. No regular opening times, but during summertime there is «always» someone at home at the farm. There are two residential buildings at the farm, if you need to knock on the door, it is the white house.The cidery and small bottle shop is in an old red barn. Very simple set up, but he had plans for expansions in near future. Three ciders available at my visit, and only available from the farm, so far in 2020. Very friendly and informative service from the owner. Nice view over lake Heddalsvatnet towards Notodden. Apple trees around the farm. | 50 /100 Vinmonopolet Notodden (Beer Store) STORGATA 13 “New rating: I visited again in June 2020 to get some hard to find bottles from Fjellbryggeriet, Ratatosk and Såmt. The Lindheim selection was not very impressive but this Vinmonopolet seems to be the local outlet for beers above 4.7% from Fjellbryggeriet.
