“A brewery we were taken to by our daughter on a really nice spring afternoon. The location is in an industrial area just off the interstate In OKC and the interior has your basic working brewery atmosphere, picnic tables and high tables to sit at with plenty of room. Many pluses to this place. I had a fine BBA Imperial stout at a reasonable price. There was a blue grass band playing the Saturday we were there. Dog friendly, Howie the corgi enjoyed himself too. I watched part of a Cubs game on the TVs scattered around. Good time, I hope to go back again.“

“I was told this store has a decent selection of beer, much of it in singles. And it does, I am surprised and impressed. While I did not find any treasures, I did pick up a number of good beers including a few local brews. There was a good spread among many styles. The lady behind the register was friendly and informative, prices were reasonable and I intend to go back on our next visit to OKC.“

“2 years ago I rated the midwest city in the downtown location. So now I'll put the downtown location in midwest. (I'll put note over there too) Downtown had a very nice large clean place. It was not along the canal walk like other places so they can charge less. (Good prices for food and happy hour Beer!) It's not a place to search out for great ceaft beer, but they have decent food and average craft beer at good prices.“

“Medium size shared space inside a converted industrial building, 16 or so own beers on tap plus some cans and bottles, no food but it can be procured from a Vietnamese restaurant next door (beer and Pho went down very well) good communal WiFi; excellent beer, friendly service, no flights but 4 oz pours available at reasonable prices (even of many canned beers)“

“Visited around rush hour on a Sunday winter Thursday. Nice space with a bright, upbeat vibe. Some funny old Chinese kungfu movie on the screen next to the Untappd menu. About 20 hours beers on tap (plus cold cans to go). Choices are heavily tilted to the Hazy-lovers crowd, but there a couple other sturdy options. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean. Decent brews. Kind of a weird area, a bit away from downtown in what I'd call a 'tweener' neighborhood ... you'll have to navigate thru a homeless campground if you're coming off I-40. Creative re-use of the building's former occupant's logo (an old dry cleaners, I guess ... original sign still there, too). Brewery #1012.“

“Really good food but maybe not the best choice for the beer lover. Small number of their brews, a few guest taps and cans. There beer ok. In the trendy area, busy place.“

“Bricktown has turned into a big midwest chain. This one's not that far from the original downtown brewpub. The whole venture is pretty much Middle of the Road American pub ... standard blue collar menu, pretty basic house beers. But at least they now also offer a pretty sturdy list of guest taps, including several other local options. That alone rescues this place from mediocrity. Good service, food is nothing extraordinary but decent.“

“Great little tasting room, with lots of taps including many ambitious styles, including barrel aged stouts, high gravity IPAs (including west coast style ones), and sours. 4 oz pours of everything available. Unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with a single beer they tried — the big beers were hot and messy, with insane booziness to them. The sour I had was artificial and lacking depth. Super friendly service. Prices are berry high, especially for the BA beers ($6 / 4 oz$. Not worth a stop for the beer. I applaud their ambition, but hopefully they figure out their shit quality-wise.“

“Aside from Prairie, this is one of the better breweries in town. They have a sizeable taplist with well over a dozen on tap, and small pours of anything for a reasonable price. They also have meads—the only place in OKC you can find meads, according to the bartender. Beer quality is good but short of amazing. The bartender / taproom manager was super friendly and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak to. Great central spot. Recommended when in town.“

“One of the best breweries in the Deep South and well worth the visit. I stopped in a Wednesday afternoon when it was fairly quiet. The tasting room is located in a small little mall, almost decked out like a Mikkeller. 26 taps when I visited, 8 of which were pastry stouts, 12 of which were pastry sours, and the rest hazies or lighter beers. 4/8/12 pours of everything, plus staff are nice about doing samples. Of course, Prairie is known for their world-class imperial stouts, so I focused on those, and interspersed those with some fruit smoothies. They're distributed well at this point, so my expectations were high and met. Wonderful spot, and a high point in the beer desert that is the Deep South / Bible Belt.“

“We came here on 15.7.2022. A few blocks from Prairie brewing. This is a very modern urban area in Oklahoma City. The brewpub moved 1 year ago in this old construction which was completely renovated. The bar area is arranged very nicely. Brewhouse to the right in a separate room, visible through a glas front. 18 beers on tap. We tasted their flagship Hazy IPA and a Milkshake IPA. Both were good. Very attentive service giving us a lot information about the city and the country.“

“We came to our first brewery in Oklahoma on 15.7.2022. Located in a refurbished industrial hall shared with other shops. Very modern ambiance. Brewery visible through windows. This is their research & development brewery. They have a larger one somewhere in Oklahoma for mass production. 16 beers on tap. At least half of them were sour. I had the Extra Spicy Pickle Monster, which was a bit too extreme for my taste.“

“We were at the Shawnee location at 4:30 today. Server asking for our drink order as we were being seated, I asked if the had any Hazy NEIPAs? She acted like she never heard of that before. She says people drink our IPA. I said ok, I'll try. It was not good. After she left I had a chance to look at the beer menu. They had a decent stout from Iron Monk. (Wish I saw sooner) It's a nice new clean place.“

“Odd location kind of in a factory district. Huge building with the seating amongst the fermentation tanks. About 13 beers on tap with about 6 in cans for take home. It looks like all the beers are $6 for a 16oz pour which is pretty good. The fruited saison I had was flavorful. No food and not many people here on a Saturday afternoon but this is worth a visit. It you are driving through Oklahoma city on highway 40 this is about 2 blocks off an exit so for me it was a good place to stop and stretch my legs for a while.“

“Interior is cozy, new but not sterile. The man behind the bar was very friendly, letting me in a little before opening so I could escape the heat. Their beers range from good to excellent - if you like stouts, try the Turtlehead. Definitely visit if you live in or near OK City, or are visiting for a while.“

“Tucked away in an industrial area, Anthem is worth finding. Interior is open and unpretentious, and servers make you feel welcome. Their beers are definitely worth trying; you may even want to take some home. If you can visit only one brewery while passing through OK City, make this the one.“

“Bricktown Brewery couldn't feel more like a big chain brewpub in any way. The beer selection is very safe. Some of it was ok, some was a little rough around the edges. The kitchen is open reasonably late which helped us out. There's some quality Oklahoman grub on the menu. The beer is priced very fairly though growlers are spendy, especially considering the beer. Oh, our bartender was awesome. There's not a lot of establishments in Bricktown for the beer enthusiast so it's very likely for one to end up here.“

“This is a typical sports bar. The selection is broad though a decent amount of it is comprised of InBev or SABMiller products. Still, I had no problem finding some good local beer to drink. Prices are varied but I ended up with $4 pints of something local. Can't complain about that. If you're spending a whole evening in Bricktown, might as well have one here.“

“This taproom is in an old bread factory just a bit west of the business district. There isn't much else yet in this neighborhood but Stonecloud is worth the trip. The bar and floor area is spacious and the old brick building sets the ambiance. They had quite a few taps on for my visit. This was one of those breweries that made it a little difficult for me to make a choice as there were several that jumped out at me. Every Stonecloud beer I had during my stay in OKC was great and I had anything from a single hop pale ale to a Baltic porter to a Vienna. The prices on draft beer are very good but I can't say the same for the bottle selection. I obviously expect a markup on a special bottle but there was nothing for less than $18 with most bottles at $20 or more. Meanwhile there were plenty of excellent draft beers at $4-$7 pours ranging from 12 oz. to 16.9 oz. I guarantee you they sell plenty of bottles so what do I know. Anyway, Stonecloud is stand out in this scene and I consider it a mandatory stop.“

“This is a cool taproom that plays to anybody with a nostalgic affinity for pop culture from about three decades ago. It feels tasteful and still retains that taproom-in-a-warehouse ambiance. The small arcade games on free play were especially welcome. The beer spans a decent amount of styles but is a little hop or sour or fruit heavy. Someone's gotta do it in OKC though. Everything I had was quite good. Prices are fair, service was attentive. Overall I'd certainly recommend a visit here.“

“Elk Valley conjours up images of an older brewing operation but their image and beer selection is pretty moderb, especially for a beer scene like OKC's. This little taproom is located near Midtown though not with anything in the immediate vicinity. The streetcar stops right in front so it is easily accessible. The interior is fairly stark and on the smaller side. There is a little deck outside upstairs and their colorful branding adds a little ambiance. Service was good on our visit. The selection was ample with offerings ranging from a yellow lager to a coffee imperial stout. Everything we had was certainly solid. Prices are good and given its proximity to public transit that connects it to other beer destinations, this is a quality beer stop.“

“This taproom is located in an indoor "market" though the other tenants are things like designers or a yoga studio. I visited later in the evening so this was the only thing open in the building. They did what they could with the space, it's stark but the effort to display merch, beer, and a view of brewhouse helps. The bar is of medium size and there were some friendly patrons around. I wasn't surprised this ended up being one of the best breweries I visited on this trip. As far as variety of styles and the ability to execute them all, it's here and Stonecloud above anyone else. Prices are a little higher than around town but still lower than what I see in many other cities and certainly worth it. I'd call this a must stop for a serious beer enthusiast.“

“I had a little trouble finding this place only because it was dark and I wasn't expecting a biergarten to be on a roof. It was a cold night so everyone was relegated to the inside. The view from the deck would be pretty nice though. There are a lot of German beers on but I was more interested in local stuff. They had a handful of options. The selection is serviceable overall. I was excited that they featured a pork shank on the menu. It's obviously Americanized (I'd love more crispy skin) but expertly cooked and delicious. It was gratifying to eat leftover pork directly off a bone in a hotel bed a few hours later.“

“This seems to be a popular stop in MIdtown OKC. We arrived in town on an icy evening and most everyone was freaking out and closing early. This pub too closed a few hours early but stuck it out long enough to provide us with a nightcap beer. The ambiance is pretty standard American pub trying to look like the UK. The bartender was very friendly and efficient. We had no trouble finding some local beers to drink. It's not the best selection in town anymore, it seems there are some newer establishments that are very beer focused, but it's solid and extensive enough. The prices are friendly but that seems to be a theme in most of OKC.“

“Popped in here on a Thursday night when I didn't really have enough time to check it out. I could only have one beer, but it was quite good. The tap list was sturdy, and I liked the way they set up the place with an overview of the brewing area and a cozy, dog-friendly tap room. Bingo was being joyfully enjoyed by the local crowd. I hope I can return soon. Brewery #856.“

“Knowing my propensity for beer, a local friend took me here for dinner during a recent visit to OKC. On a Thursday night, the place was jammed. They did have an impressive chalk board full of quality beer offerings, but it took quite a while to get any attention. Once we did, the beer was good, the food was somewhat unique and came out in a timely manner and well prepared. I'd go back at a quieter hour, perhaps.“

“Never been to the main location in Tulsa, so I can't begin to compare. Had high hopes for this place and it is still new but I was pretty underwhelmed. Parking was not difficult even though I thought it might be due to the location. Literally right next to train tracks. Like I could spit on a train if it came by. I hope it's not an active track or it would be awfully loud and annoying. Building was huge. So much open space but it looks like they will expand it into almost an event/gathering area. Sort of an industrial theme meets the 80's vibe. About 16 beers on tap and a decent variety. Can get 4oz pours for a somewhat steep price. ($15 for 4 4oz pours --2 IPAs, 1 RIS, and one sour.) Worst part was the service. Not rude but far from friendly or personable. A number of locals have complained about the lack of quality of service here and I can see why. I'm shocked to say that if I lived in OKC, I would probably not be as much of a regular as I would like to think I would be. Doesn't meet the hype...if it had any...“

“The brewery/taproom is located just west of downtown. The taproom is medium sized and can get busy. They have about 15 taps and only sell stonecloud beer. Most of the taps are roatating and they do an excellent job of keeping the tap list up to date on their website. You can get a 4 oz pour of any beer they offer and they have bottles/and crowlers to go. Most of their beer is good to excellent. They don’t serve food but usually have popcorn for purchase.“

“Visited later evening on a Friday. Located around the corner from the Bricktown Brewery. Really nice looking historic building. 30 beers on draft, focus is on rotators and seasonals. 9 of the beers were from Oklahoma brewers. Beer flights available. Solid selection of bottles and cans available as well. Bartenders were very familiar with list, and had great recommendations and general beer conversation. Huge long bar with high tops all around the bar. Some bar games, typical bar food menu.

70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited after dinner on a Friday. Located in the Bricktown area of downtown OKC, in a classic building. Main room is big, with a lot of dark wood. The bar area is up a couple of steps to the left, and features seats at the bar or adjacent bar tables. Beer selection is 7 house beers, all 4.0 abv per some weirdo Oklahoma law (which I believe is changing soon). Shaker pours, or growlers to go. Additionally, there are a bunch of guests in bottles and cans, which are not subject to the ABV cap. Slow service, despite not being particularly busy. This reminded me of what brewpubs were like in the mid-90s.

64 = ★★ (Just ok)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Well this place exceeded all my expectations. Nice wide open space with a big wrap around bar right in the middle. Had all the usual airport crap on tap, but also had two from COOP and two from Anthem. And get this - THEY DO FLIGHTS!!!!! Holy beerchoice batman. Even some of the breweries in OKC haven’t figured out how to do flights yet. And this flight was ten bucks. TEN BUCKS! Pretty good for an airport, especially considering that Prairie’s cheapest flight was $16, and most others around town were $7. And the airport flight included Anthem’s Uroboros, which is 8.5%. Server was very pleasant and.......you’re not gonna believe this.......she KNEW THE BEERS!!!?!??!!!! I am beside myself. Airports of the world, take note.“

“Way out there, but not far from one of Tinker AFB’s housing areas, so I guess the location makes sense. Appears to be a genuine Bavarian gasthof and the food is the genuine article. Jam packed crowded when I visited because of some raffle, and also because it was Super Bowl Sunday. Service kept up with the madness though. The most disappointing part was the beer - all were very watery. One had spice, so I’m not sure how that fits with the reinheitsgebot, but I’m glad they broke that taboo. 3 ounce pours available, or massive pours. You can tellthey’re not into the American beer scene when you finish your flight of five and the dirndl-clad server asks, "So, have you decided which one you want to drink?" But, kudos to them for offering flights, when some of the other local breweries don’t. Worth the trip if you need a German food fix.“

“Corner location across from the medial center. Central bar dominates all. Large draft and bottle lists. Sadly, flights are set and you can’t choose your own, one point off. “A fellow drinker at Anthem recommended this place to me, and she was spot on. It’s in a very trendy location, so you could park on the street somewhere (or use Lyft like I did) and hop from one place to another. Sleek modern interior, very long bar runs almost the length of the place, and bar tables. Comfortably crowded on a Thursday night. They were doing flights when I arrived, as well as single four ounce pours, but they stopped as the place got more crowded and just offered full pours - which fortunately, for the high abv stuff was 10 ounce snifters, no shaker pints. Quick efficient service despite the crowds. Very friendly locals. Food looked tasty but I didn’t eat and probably should have, the wait times at surrounding restaurants were long. Great place.“

“Interesting place. Non-descript building and entrance. Interior is cozy with some booths and a small bar at the far end. Everyone knew everyone, but they welcomed me in and were very friendly. They apparently had a falling out with COOP so they no longer offer their beers. In fact, the taps were just common national craft and non-craft brands. They did have a few local beers in cans, so that kept me happy. Food was delicious, small menu, kitchen closes early, but it really hit the spot. Fun place, but not really a craft beer destination at the moment.“
