Only macro beer available and few and boring bottles too. Damn! I went to bed sober this evening. But, do not get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel, delicious breakfast and free parking. The only place that had Oppdal Bryggeri and Rodebak available. Also a nice café and “grocery store”. Specialized on local cheese and meat. Not hard to find. Located opposite of the hotel. Recommended visit!“ |

| 82 /100 Smak & Behag - Gulating Ølutsalg Oppdal (Beer Store) OLA SETROMS VEG 38 “New rating: I visited in 2018 and again June 25th 2020. Now this store is part of the Gulating chain. But, it is still a deli store and cafe and opens as early as 09.00 in the morning. Beers are not in the window anymore. Beer selection have increased too. Very friendly service. A must visit if I happens to drive by.
Old rating: 4-7-9-x-8-13=3.3 or 66.Oppdal is not a big city, but this store is really a great place! Bottle shop, grocery store (local cheese, cured meats, bread and more) and cafe. Of course, expensive for foreigners. Friendly service and good selection of beers from this part of Norway. I found some from Oppdal Brygghus and Rodebak. New breweries for me! One negative thing: some of the bottles are on display in shelves in the window. Not good, even though the window is north-facing. Nevertheless, a must stop if you are passing by Oppdal by car. But, I guess this grocery store has about 150-200 different bottles and cans. Not bad, but some local breweries were missing. I got some ticks from Hogna and bought some local cured meats. Quite decent selection of "To Tårn" and also some other from more nearby breweries. Nothing too interesting, but worth having a look if one happens to be in the area. The Vinmonopolet store is just meters away in the same shopping mall.“ |
