“In the heart of rural Cheshire in the very leafy and sprawling village boundaries of Over Peover, The Dog is a lovely traditional countryside pub with big grounds, most of which are taken over by the large car park indicating food is very much sought after here by locals and visitors. I never ate here but drinkers are well served with a row of real ale pumps that always include a Weetwood ale and other local microbreweries will probably be represented here as well. They also have a beer festival with ales from up and down the country. There’s tables out front in the walled garden with views across the road of the cows in the farmer’s field, although if you’re sat inside the open plan pub is suitably pretty with its furnish and decor.“
