“This place is directly across the street from Pintville, on the main drag. I got a parking spice right in front of it on a Friday around 5 PM, so I didn’t look around to see how much other parking is nearby. Long bar and a handfull of tables, surrounded by shelves of bottles and a few coolers. This place has a more creative and varied taplist than Pintville, and was switching taps over for a Benford tap takeover, so I got the best of both worlds. Sadly they’re not doing flights yet, but they plan to once their "planks" are in; I would do flights with glassware only, why not? Crowded for the tap takeover. Staff kept up very nicely, and both staff and locals were very friendly. Decent prices. Owner used to do the beers for Harris Teeter. No food, but there are several restaurants on the same block - just watch out for the crazy NC Nascar drivers, it’s safer to walk a block to the next light than to cross at the meaningless sign that says "Give pedestrians the right of way." This would be my local I think if I lived nearby.“

“Visited on a Saturday evening. Very large restaurant, with a large parking lot, but the place was packed the night we went. We waited for approximately 30 minutes for a table. Around 10-12 beers on tap, with an additional 20 or so in the bottle. All the beers were German, with the exception of a couple macros and a couple by Olde Meck. Nothing on the beer list struck me as "special", but they definitely had the best German beer selection that I’ve seen in Charlotte. They had a german-style band playing part of the time we were there. The food menu featured familiar german dishes, but we thought the food tasted a little more like frozen food, than food made at the restaurant. Overall, it was nice to get a little german cuisine and atmosphere, but compared to other german restaurants I’ve visited around the country, this one wasn’t the greatest.“

“This place opened in November last year. Pretty much just a bar, but they have a small selection of bottles for sale as well, to take away or drink in. The 24 taps included a handful of small NC breweries, some local CLT stuff, and a number of beers from NY. Flights of four available for eight bucks. Food is pretzels. Small sunny patio out front. Parking lot on the corner, or street parking. Friendly service. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.“

“Plenty of parking. Nice atmosphere. Had the weinschitzel, I enjoyed it. The place had Weihenstephaner Hefe Weiss on draft. The apple strudel was good. Hope to be back.“

“Located a bit south of Charlotte. Big German restaurant. Parking is ample. Customer service is excellent. Lots of selections on the menu, the schnitzel I ordered was excellent. A little pricy, but not bad for what you get. 12 beers on tap is more than I’ve seen at a lot of German resturants and featured two selections from Olde Mecklenburg, which was nice. About 20 bottled beers, including a couple of macros for those who need them, but a lot of German beers. All the standards are there, but there were a couple I hadn’t seen before. Nice place.“
