“Large store of beer, I never fail to visit it when I’m around. The beer selection is equal to other great stores of beer, as Hopduvel and DRANKEN Geers, lacks the material for the homebrewing, on the other hand a lot of gadgets. Modern environment, a little out of hand. In my opinion the most comprehensive.“

“Le drink belge avec un très large choix de bières...belges. Une visite incontournable à environ 20 Km de Lille.“

“A huge drink shop with a lot of different brands and types of beer. A bit confusing since there was a lot of people and the brands were distributed in an order I did not understand. But the prices are fine and the choice is amazing.“

“First beer warehouse I’d visited so I was a bit like a kid in a candy store. The selection was huge and it was ridiculously cheap compared to buying these beers in the UK! The woman at the till was a bit grumpy because I had 50+ different bottles but a different member of staff showed me where a public toilet was just outside the shop so they were friendly enough. I shall be making a return.“

“Beer supermarket aimed at French shoppers. Good selection and good prices but with all the ambiance of Tescos.“

One of my most frequented Belgian beer warehouses. A huge place with row upon row of beer crates stacked up, with prices displayed above. At the entrance is soft drinks / juices and pre-packed beer baskets.. you walk further and see a fridge with Chimay cheese and 3 beer taps (only operating on Saturdays I believe). In front of you is a decent wine selection, then you turn left where there is usually some more interesting limited edition options. I’ve found some great stuff here, Black Damnation, aged Straffe Hendrik and a few other limited releases.

The selection here seems larger than other such beer warehouses but lacks some of the edgier craft / micro brewers.. there is however a decent lambic selection. Also a good amount of of gift boxes and magnums, not to mention glassware, beer mats & clothing section. Also various spirits. Prices pretty good too.

UPDATE: Shelving seems a lot smarter, lots more indie brewers such as Alvinne and de Dochter van de Korenaar which I didn’t notice last time. Lots of new, limited releases. Impossible to spend less than an hour in here!“

“Found this using Tim Webbs Good Beer Guide to Belgium: The location is good for the channel ports if coming up the E42 from Lille. It is a great big warehouse with a small bar inside selling their own beers on tap. The rest of the warehouse is full of beer, other drinks and glasses: we are talking about row upon row of different Belgian beers here, crates, huge bottles, 75cl bottles, gift packs, one offs you’ll never see again, specials, regulars, favourites as well as stuff you know and love. I spent a very happy hour wandering around and left with 94 Euro’s worth of beer and a Rum from Fiji. I could have easily spent more time and a whole lot more money if the car hadn’t already got a stash of booze in it already. You are just left alone to wander and stare, but help is on hand should you require any.“

“An enormous warehouse-like building filled with rows upon rows of crates. A great place to load up on common beers. Huge selection of glasses. There are some harder to find beers, but nothing really rare. Prices are hard to beat.“

“A beer super market close to the French border. Good selection of industrial and artisanal beers but very few vintages. They offer some really good deals when you buy beer per crate. The beers are very reasonably priced. They also sell spirits, wine and some chocolates. “

“Large beer supermarket with nearly everything available both by the crate and the bottle, at decent prices. Very good selection of beers, plus a lot of the glasses, some merch and other alcohol. Not much in the way of rare beers, although I did get some La Trappe Quadruple Oak Aged (batch 5) for €7.88 a bottle.“
