“Stopped in here for the first time today, don’t trust your GPS its not downtown, find the rotary on rte 25 and you’ll find the place. Old ski chalet of a building with lots of high ceilings and exposed wood. Beer garden with a dozen or so picnic tables out front. Seems like a place that the locals hang out at but the people I sat at the bar with seemed more than welcoming. They had two of their beers on tap a Grissette and an IPA, both were solid. Some macros an Allagash, Moat, and a Sam round out the taps The wood fired pizza smelled fantastic but I was already stuffed. I’d like to spend a bit more time here on my next visit.“

“As the other reviewer said here, this place is in the basement of the Chase St Market. The entrance is at the side, and is not so easy to spot unless you know the place is there. The decor is pretty simple, there are a few stools at the bar and also some tables and chairs. Service was friendly, our server also gave some good beer recommendations. Tap selection was decent both in terms of size and variety. I had a pint of Old Brown Dog from Smuttynose and a Darkest Before the Dawn from Hobbs (really liked the latter beer). Food was good, I had the Buffalo Sandwich and my wife had the garlic bread, plus we had a chilli each. Prices were good, both for food and drinks. This is the best place in town for draught beer (not that there are a hell of a lot of options), well worth a visit. Note that they are not open super-late, they close at 9pm.“

“Coffee shop with a small selection of groceries and a decent selection of beer. Had some singles also, which is great for me as I almost never buy six packs. Didn’t look at the food or try the coffee. Beer prices were OK, groceries looked to be rather high-end. Not a bad find in this small town.“

“Busy pub in the centre of town. Note that there are not many choices in town for craft beer, so I was quite happy to find a place like this at all. There were (I think) ca. 10 taps on with a mixture of macros and micros. I had a pretty decent pint of Long Trail IPA and I know that they had a Tuckermans brown ale on at the time we were here. Wait staff were very friendly. Food was rather good, not great but solid pub-fare. I had the burger and my wife had the BBQ steak tips. Prices were very reasonable for both food and drinks. Not a bad place to spend an evening if you are stuck in town as we were.“

“I stopped in here last week on my way up north. In the cellar of Chase St Market and owned by the same people. This place was pretty busy for lunch on a Wed. I was here for the beer but also had a great sandwich as well. 24 or so taps with a focus on local. the had a beer from White Mountain and Shackett’s which I hadn’t seen anywhere before. Most taps were 5 bucks with a few at 6. The lone bartender was busy but attentive. I’d go back again!“

“I stopped in here around lunch time on Wed last week. They do a great lunch business at the deli counter. I was here for beer and they do not dissapoint. A lot of what is available in NH was for sale on my visit. Prices seemed about average for the current craft beer world. Its a convenience store and as sure service was minimal, but not needed this day. I’d go back on my way up North if I needed beverages.“

“A combination general store with a deli and coffee bar also. Appears to be a hang out for college students. Good place to pick up a sandwich if you are hungry. There is a pub in the basement, but I did not visit. The have a fairly good selection of NH and other regional beers.“
