“What more can I say? Great, great location in the middle of nowhere (or so it felt), surrounded by woods, a small lake, just a beautiful lush and scenic green landscape. Brewery and guesthouse were all thatched wooden buildings. Apparently you can stay the night here as well. Tried the beers outside, slow-paced, with a few very welcome wraps as food. Decent to good beers. Absolutely worth a visit (call in advance) just for the scenery alone.“

“Gorgeous location in rural Estonia. The brewery itself is actually the least interesting building on the lot, the owner’s house and other building are attractive traditional thatched wood buildings. We visited during a pre-arranged tasting during RBESG 2017, and they said they do tasting such as this frequently. Beers were poured one at a time, and the owner’s wife grilled for us too. Beers were very tasty. Finisher was poured straight from the barrel through the bung hole. Holy cow. Great place.“

“Absolutely idyllic location. The visit here is one of the reasons I don’t remember much about the evening in Tartu. The brewers are great, and the beers were excellent fresh. I could do with staying here, and having the sauna heated up. One of the best bits of RBESG 2017!“

“This place is fckin amazing! Like really. I don’t know how to get here ’cause I was drunk and bus was driving. The whole farm is in the middle of the silence. Ok you can hear sheep here and there yelling baaa, but who wouldn’t after gentle touch from farmers. Brewery tour and snacks were perfect. So was beer. Make sure to shake all the oak barrels, they still might contain some leftovers like we discovered. Must visit.“

“Visited during RBESG ’17. A mind-blowingly beautiful location in the middle of the countryside. Woodern building, trees and a lovely river that you cross to get there. The brewers and staff gave us a tasting of their beers and laid on freshly prepared chicken wraps (well needed and appreciated!). Also gave us a tour of the brewery and poured a recent festival barrel aged imperial stout directly from the barrel for us to try. Had a great experience here and it was well worth the visit.“

“Stopped by during the RBESG 2017. Beautiful location in the countryside with old houses, a small stream and trees. That it was a warm sunny summer day only made things better. Not sure if they are open regularly or if you have to book in advance. Considering the remote location I’d say it is best to make sure in advance. The staff was great, showed us around the brewery, shared lots of bottles and made some chicken wraps. It is possible to stay the night (though not sure how you book it) so for a combination of nature and beer this is a great place to visit.“

“Second time visitor Estonia, this visit due to RBESG. My visit on Friday July 21, 2017.

Place rating 666 \m/

We arrived by bus, going from Riga to Tartu, planned booked stop on the way.
As I understood it they do not tend to have open regurarly, but open for booked visits.
We had a look around the brewery and premises, got some wraps in us for food and sampled plenty of the bottles available. Very scenic nice place, fantastic staff. If you are a group and want to experience something quite different, but nice, book yourself here. They also have beds, so staying over is a possibility, something for the future for myself perhaps even.“
