“This is the new location for Beer Mongers, right around the corner from the old place, opened in 2023. Large covered patio with picnic tables. Long L-shaped bar with a serving area, bar tables. Tons of games. Probably the best curated taplist and bottle list I've seen in a long time, probably the best in Portland. Three radically different smoke beers on tap, as an example. Huge bottle list. Owner Scott behind the bar had great recommendations and treated regulars and newbies like me like royalty. Cribbage tournament every Tuesday. No food. A must-visit.“

“Typical brewery taproom on one side, larger space for the pizzeria and another taproom on the other side. Pizza is tasty grandma/Sicilian style. Beer list is solid but I went for the Sagardo style Basque cider which was delicious. Nice place.“

“Went here about 6 years ago when they first opened and had taken over the old Fathead's Brewery. I found it to be a nice place but finding a place to park in NW Portland is difficult. The food was good and reasonably priced and so was the beer.“

“An old craftsman style house, 1920s or so. Long bar, small kitchen and that's about it inside. Outside are picnic tables and bar tables under multiple temporary event tents. Not beautiful, but I guess that's the reality with Portland weather; maybe some tents come down as the summer progresses. The beer is tasty enough, wide variety of styles, and flights o four are available. Food is bbq & burgers. Dogs & kids OK in the garden. OK stop if passing by.“

“Stopped by because they had an imperial thiolized grodziskie on draft, and I had to figure out what in the world that was (think bacon water with a bit more body and bitterness). Fun barleywine, friendly staff, tasty beer. Love the Polish theme, some great beer in Poland and nice to see a quality American brewery embracing it. I'll be back.“

“Like an American-style German beer hall. Stopped by on a Thursday evening, on a bit of a brewery row on Belmont. Terrific lagers, had a rauch marzen here which was just to die for, belongs with Wayfinder and Heater Allen among the best of Portland's lager scene. The IPAs are well done but preferred the lagers.“

“Really good bottle shop, nice selection of international, good American, and deep Oregon brews. Well-curated taplist, and let's not forget the ~8 food trucks outside (you can bring the food inside, as I did to watch an NCAA tournament game). Really excellent spot, not as good as the PNW's best bottleshop (Bottleworks in Seattle), but a surprisingly close second. Edit to add - if even mcberko rates this place nearly perfect, you know it's amazing.“

“Swung by late on a Thursday. Big place, not empty at that point. As others have noted, tons of taps, wide range but nothing I'd consider whale-ish, decent bar food, they do flights of whatever you'd like. Worth a stop for a cross-selection of the Oregon beer scene, but so many good taprooms around, I'd rather just go to those.“

“Swung by on a Thursday evening, crowded place. Cascade is obviously known for their sours, and their sours are terrific, but tons of other great stuff, too, including a barrel aged Adambier that was just a home run. Great place for ticking, too, as you can pay for pours as small as 2 oz. Classic brewery taproom, worth a visit.“

“Stopped in here with friends after Church one Saturday evening about 5 or 6 years ago. It was fairly crowded but were seated fairly quickly. Don't remember too much about the food, though it must have been good as I don't remember it being a bad experience. At the time it was picnic tables and kind of like a converted warehouse.“

“I've been to a shit ton of craft. Eer establishments over the past couple of decades, and I honestly think this place is the best of the bunch. Eclectic tap list, and an even more expansive bottle selection. Mostly geared toward European styles; I don't even believe they have a hazy IPA or pastry stout. Limited, thoughtful food menu with build your own cheese and charcuterie boards. The decor is cozy and underground, but there is also an above ground terrace that I imagine is nice in the summer. I haven't posted in a long time, and this place moved me to the point where I logged in to review it.“

“It's a weird space. Old building, very high ceilings, big. The tree slab tables give it a slight homey feel. But we're here for the beer, 16 beers to choose from. Here in IPA Portland it's difficult for lager lovers to find a selection (& the couple lager-centric brweres in town don't have much to offer for us hop-heads) and the Haus has plenty for everybody. Had the Harris, which is a quintessential west coast IPA, very well-balanced.“

“Medium sized taproom with 20 taps and several hundred bottles/cans. Big windows, lots of light, airy, patio outside. Seems to be popular with the locals. Not the widest selection in town, but definitely a nice place to visit in lively neighborhood.“

“Small taproom, quite dark and completely empty during our visit. Fussball, darts and arcade machine in the back room. They had 10 taps on, mostly their beer and two guests. “Was at Cascade five or six years ago with some friends on a late Saturday afternoon. I know they are famous for their Sours and I'm not really into sours but thought I'd give it a try. Smallish bar area with outside seating. Food was decent but a little on the high side price wise. Tried some sours, some were OK others not so much.“

“Located a bit away from the other beer establishments. Medium sized taproom with patio outside. I got an impression they have a following among locals. 15 beers on tap and around 30 bottles and cans. They are mostly focused on classic US styles, no modern hazy/pastry/smoothie stuff which I respect. We got an amazing brewery tour by Van. Quality of beer is very good. Worth checking out.“

“Industrial interior with la long long bar in the middle, accessible from both sides. Interior felt a bit cold, or was that just A/C? Hard to argue with 99 beers of tap, lots of regional and local breweries. However I missed something really interesting, highly rated among those 99. They claimed to have bottles on their web page, but unfortunately staff said there were no bottles at all. Somehow expected a bit more from this place and feel kind of bad about it.“

“Modern neat looking taproom with wooden ceiling and some greenery inside giving it necessary warmth. Big windows and lots of light. Long L shaped marble bar. 16 beers were all low abv, 2/3 different traditional styles (mostly lagers) and rest of them were hoppy stuff with one berliner. Guest beer from fantastic Halfway Crooks. We've focused on their specialty and lagers were very good with occasional gem. Friendly service. Great taproom, would like to come back some time.“

“Medium sized taproom with patio outside. Classic taproom in terms of interior, not many people in side or outside during our visit. About 30 taps of sours and other styles, some guest ciders. More in bottles. These days I'm less enthusiastic about Cascade so wasn't thrilled by any of the beers I've tried. Worth checking out and I'd revisit to see if I get the better vibe about the place.“

“Located in an old church this place looks fantastic. Huge main room with high ceilings and wooden beams look majestic. Large U shaped bar on one end of the room and brewing equipment on the other with tinted windows above. Minus point goes for music, bland pop music does not fit this establishment at all. Friendly service. About 25 taps with mostly traditional styles, executed quite well. I'm glad we went a bit out of our way for this one.“

“Popped in here after Backwoods, and it was quite a wonderful experience. Located downtown in West Portland, big spacious beerhall inside. Long bar runs the length of the place, tons of tables. Service was fast and friendly, beers were all well above average. Music soundtrack added to my enjoyment. Each beer was a real treat. Would definitely visit again.“

“First stop of the day, hitting it right around openeing.Right in downtown Portland and on the streetcar line. Storefront location in big downtown office block building. Interior was about as expected for a brewpub, decent sized bar. However, it semed to me that almost everybody in there was there for lunch. Taplist was average, having their flagships and a few seasonals. Service was good, beer was average at best. Did not feel like a taproom at all.“

“Always trying to hit new Mcmenamin's locations when in Oregon. Their eclectic design and restoration efforts shine here at this location, classic pub vibe, huge bar, pool tables. “I had heard of this place, but still was not prepared. Wow, is all I can say. Wall to wall coolers and shelves filled with product. The whole works is geared towards selling singles, so shopping is easy. Not a lot of organization, except for some regional groupings. Prices are reasonable too. It was overwhelming to say the least.“

“Large place with a taproom on one side, fridges (20+ fridge windows?) on the other and aisles of beer in between. Loads of fresh hop beer on tap, some diversity would be nice there, but hard to say anything with such selection of bottles and cans. There has to be way more than 1k beers in there, wouldn't be surprised if it's twice as many. Various styles ranging from top end expensive imperial stouts to cheap options. The guy at the register was very kind. Top notch place.“

“Went here about 3 months ago and they had a good selection of beer on tap. They had about 4 beers from Russian River Brewing including 1 of the Pilney's, I can't remember which one now. “Clean, coffee-shop-type digs. Taplist is esoteric but everything is just fantastically done and the brewer listens to his own muse. 68 /100 7000 NE AIRPORT WAY, CONCOURSE D
“So Rogue used to be here. Definitely an upgrade for this space in my opinion. It's a crowded airport bar. Food was meh. 8 beers on tap, all regulars. Pilsner I'm drinking now is excellent and it's clear they clean the lines. Lots of empty space on the tap board so I guess I just came on an off day. Happy this place is not only in my terminal but it's next to my gate! Service fine. Prices shockingly good for an airport and pretty in line with downtown Portland. Why am I paying $7.75 for a local beer in expensive Portland and $10 for a local beer in a slightly smaller glass in Appleton. That's criminal. No charging ports at the bar which is a faux pas. Overall you're obviously not coming here on a random beer crawl but if you find yourself on the other side of security in the D or E terminal well worth a stop.“

“Sat on the roof. Nice vibe. Service was OK. Food tasty. Flight a bit annoying. A set 10 out of 20 taps. Short poured a bit but that made handling easy so I'm sure that was intentional. Food was good. Beer was good, but seemed mostly uninspired. Overall decent.“

“1200th place rating! Large place but felt cozy. Staff was a little slow at first but eventually were friendly and extremely helpful, even with a weird question I had. Charcuterie board was nice with lots of options. Not bad at $17. All the other food others were ordering looked fantastic. Set flights of six for $16 or pick your own for $18. “Visited August 2023. Walked over here from Upright. Would have been a decent enough walk if not for the sweltering heat and poor air quality due to wildfires. Anyway, it's a large warehouse style tasting room and brewery. They do have a little parklet/COVID patio setup out front as well. Good amount of seating inside. Quite a number of beers on tap. We weren't feeling in a particularly tick focused mood after drinking beer for 3 days straight, so just had a leisurely pint of a couple of their limited release IPAs and a sour beer. Stuff was all pretty solid, but nothing amazing. Friendly staff and good prices. Wouldn't mind going back again in different circumstances.“
