“Met the owner of Clef Brewery here, so I knew I was on the right track. Huge covered terrace that of course allows smokers; it wasn't until I went to the toilet that I discovered the AIR CONDITIONED and SMOKE FREE (more or less) interior, that would have been good information to have before my meal. Nonetheless an enjoyable experience. Brewhouse is visible inside also. More or less communal picnic table style seating with misters around the periphery on a hot and humid summer day. Four beers on offer when I visited: a light lager, a lager, an IPA and a stout, all tasty enough. Food was very nice too, with numerous house-made pastas representing the more or less veggie options. Solid service. Worth a stop for sure.“

“This brewpub is located maybe 2-3 km from the city centre. We walked there and even continued to nature park next to it. This is quite big roadside restaurant with brewery. Pretty slick interior. Food was excellent, beer flight of 5 their beers was available (I think normally even 6). Bottles also available. Beers are ok with food.“

“Rather big place. 5 solid brews. Very good food with a touch of Ukrainian cuisine. Served rather creatively.“

“Large and cozy brewpub neatly furnished in an old railway station style. Nice selection of home made beer named after historic trains accompany quite tasty food. Service is kind, but staff need to learn more about beer. Definitely worth of a visit...“

“A large restaurant right next to the road outside of the Portorož area, but close by. Accessible by car, wouldn't know what's the deal with public transport, though. Big indoor area with quite some tables, and huge outside terrace with large tables - it has that German bier garten feel to it.. They offer 4 of their beer on tap (light, dark, amber and wheat). Prices are somewhat regular for what it is and where it is. Nice staff, though not too informative really. Food is also very nice, typical stuff to accompany beer. Lots of parking, though also lots of people on a random Friday evening. Wouldn't really make a long detour to go here, but if in Portorož and craving for some home made beer and nice food, that's the spot to go to. My biggest complaint is that the menus contain huuuuge amount of typos, almost at every dish. Come on, fix this.“
