“This is a special place only 25 minutes from Short Pump, VA. The food was excellent and not heavy. Perfect for snacking and enjoy a great conversation with friends. The smoked salmon and pretzel were super. The front porch will be an excellent place to perch and enjoy their beers. They have a 7 barrel system as well as the old 3 barrel former system from Midnight Brewing. The place is well described by the earlier reviewers. The service was very friendly and good.“

“This place is more or less the lodge at the center of a bunch of rental cottages in the Virginia countryside. The brewery is in one half of the lodge and the other half has a small serving bar, some bar tables and some cozy nooks, all in what looks like a former house. The lodge/house has more tables on the front porch and there are picnic tables and Adirondack chairs all around. There is also a small field and some cornhole pitches between the lodge and the cottages which means lots of rugrats and dogs, even though no dogs are allowed. Shockingly for a tobacco state the outdoor spaces are non-smoking, holy cow! A dozen beers on offer in a variety of styles including a number of funky ones. Prices for tasters run from $1.50 to $4.50. Creative ingredients as well. Beers were tasty enough. Food was OK. People were friendly. But the outdoor space is the key draw here. Worth a visit.“

“This is a nice place. Located behind what appears to be rental cottages (will do some research on that!), very nice interior restaurant/tap room with 13 taps right now and they have a crowler machine as well as some special bombers in the fridge (I will inquire about price as I leave as they all look interesting). Nice outdoor seating area too. You order at one place, pick up beer at another, and food is brought to you. They’re very efficient. There are no flights per se - but you can get individual 4 oz pours at varying prices, but only 3 at a time. Totally fine. The beer is well made. If this was closer to me I’d be here all the time. One of the better breweries I’ve visited in a long time - good service, good beer, nice atmosphere. Haven’t tried the food (yet) but I’m consisering it with my next mini flight. EDITING TO ADD: ordered the roast beef sandwich. It’s roast beef on a chibiatta roll with melted cheese. It’s really good. $8, no side may seem a little pricey for a sandwich but it’s tasty.“
