“Fantastic supermarket in Puerto Rico. The beer selection is well described in the previous review. Disappointingy few local craft beers. Found one from Tenerife, a few from Jaira and the three growler-fills from Growls.“

“A new, large Spar grocery store in Puerto Rico. There are two separate rooms for wine and beer. Tasters available and three beers from Growls Craft Beer available in 1 liter growlers. About 60 craft beers from Belgium, UK, US and Germany. Some bottles from local breweries Jaira and Vagamundo, but sadly most of the beer room is filled up with cheap cans from big, Spanish breweries. Is this concept sponsored by San Miguel and Heineken? I request more local craft beers! (Visited July 2nd 2019)“

“They have a decent selection of belgian beer, I paid 5. 95 euros for a bottle of Vander Ghinste Cuvée des Jacobins. Nice service. OVERALL: Nothing to be crazy about but still you can find there something interesting to drink .“

“First 2009 updated Dec. 2016 most belgian beers in gran canaria. to be exact :40+ different beers on bottle menu, several others that were added after the menu was printed. They are aiming for 100 Belgians. since all other bars on the island has one belgian if you’re lucky this place is worth mentioning. beers :leffe blonde, brune, duvel, jupiler,chimay,judas,hoeggaarden verboden vrucht, hoeggarden, grimbergen brune,optimum, st. louis premium kriek, framboise , bush, delirium, jupiler. they also have a few german and local beers. also has nice cocktails. located with a view towards the street wit the harbor beyond. best beer bar in gran canaria by far. however thats mostly because no other bar has real beer anyway. Proper glassware and very friendly service. update : several well stocked places in las palmas now, so this bar is probably not the place with the widest selection anymore“

“New rating July 5th 2017: Great selection of Belgian beers. A must visit for Belgo-geeks in Gran Canaria. Don’t be surprised to find Westvletern 12! Old rating: Once a bar with a decent selection Belgian Beers. Now just an ordinary bar for tourists staying in sunny Puerto Rico. Veltins and Amstel on draught and bottles from Leffe, Duvel, Hoegaarden and Erdinger. On the walls there are still beer memorabilia picturing Pauwel Kwak and different Belgian fruit beers. Sad, but it is no longer worth a detour. The owner (?) said that craft beer from Belgium were to expensive... I had a Veltins draught beer and it was more than expensive considering the taste experience! (3-5-4-x-3-7=38 (Visited July 14th 2013)“
