“We had lunch here on Friday before my brother-in-law's funeral in Cary. It is located on a corner with a parking lot located behind that charges based on time. We had the Nachos plate with various local beers. Jake served us food and beverages and answered questions. The food was excellent. I tried three different beers. The outside patio will be a good place to enjoy ales when the weather is warmer.“

“Big tap room in the southern part of the downtown. Almost 20 beers on tap of a variety of styles. Flights available. Tried several beers, most of which were solid but not really great. The best for me was the Cycle Zing. Decent place but not a must visit.“

“Pretty cool modern tap-room, close to downtown Raleigh. Great selection of beers on tap. No flights but they do offer a limited number of small pours. I had two barrel aged beers, both of which were fantastic. There is a second room next to the taproom with a good selection of Merch and beer to go. Great beers and great place, only marginally inferior to the main location in Asheville. Well worth a look.“

“Small place in an industrial building. Nice indoor section, few outdoor tables. Selection of beers was fantastic and quality of beers was amazing. So many unique smoothie style sours and lots of great hazy ipas. Some other styles but I had many of those listed and they really stood out. Would go back here in a heartbeat.“

“Great selection of beers and a nice open and chill ambiance. Attached to a place with several quality food options that you can bring into burial or even order from there. Could stay here for hours. Really nice.“

“Cool place with a good selection of styles. Refreshing in today's monoculture of NEIPAs and fruit bomb sours -- and here I'd thought I'd just get a bunch of hazies given the name. They were all done pretty well, and this place manages to pull them off. Flights available, or just single 5oz pours. Prices OK, service OK. Ambience is kind of a slick trendy feel.“

“Very cool place in downtown Raleigh. Lots of cool saucers all over the wall - atmospheric place. Flights available here with lots of local stuff. Definitely a highlight in Raleigh for beer nerds. Service was pretty overwhelmed when I was there. Some outdoor seating in patio. Prices OK.“

“Cool looking place with some great beer. Mostly just pints available right now. Definitely one of the best I had in a short trip through Raleigh. Cool bike decor, and some outdoor seating. Service in the afternoon was great. But the younger nighttime guy who took over bartending at night was definitely on the arrogant and douchy side of things. Actually made me leave a bit earlier than I was planning.“

“Nice big patio at this place. Wye Hill beers were mostly OK. Flights available. Heaters outside to keep distance in pandemic. Friendly service. Pretty close to Crank Arm and one of the Trophy locations, and Flying Saucer. But doesn't really measure up to some of the better options there in terms of beer availability.“

“Cool place to sit down and have a beer. Decent selection there, especially on the lambic side. The store part is super expensive -- they don't have a take out single can that's cheaper than $6. But that may be just a sign of the times these days. Only a few available on singles fridge -- their selection of four packs/six packs is a lot bigger. Lots of good lambics about on par for normal prices. 3 Fonteinen, Girardin and such. They had an Equilibrium tap takeover when I was there, and food menu looked good though didn't indulge. It's not often I go into a store with so much selection and only leave with like one or two beers though.“

“I just had a couple hours in Raleigh after an evening flight in and figured I'd knock out dinner with a beer and to-go beer in one efficient stop. Honestly, given the stock sportsbar atmosphere and proximity to a shopping center in the outskirts of Raleigh, my expectations weren't sky high. So it was an exciting surprise when beer after beer that I drank at the restaurant and through the next couple days while going through the cans I had bought were nothing short of excellent. I'm not a hop head by any stretch but Lynnwood is one of those places that just understands how to get the most out of hop usage and is heavy handed in every style in American fashion. It takes me back just a short while ago when a clear pale ale, a pilsner, or a bitter could be considered really hoppy. All the beers were clean, well presented, and the list was lengthy with a broad variety of styles available. The food was no frills bar fare. No complaints from me.“

“On the street parking, not so easy for the area. Nice outdoor area for the food and an indoor area. I did not have any food. Smaller selection of beers. Some singles, but a lot of four-packs of cans. Service was good. The beer did seem mostly newer. I bought one nice bottle here. You cannot break up the four-packs, so not worth a trip back for me.“

“Nice grocery store in a pretty crappy location behind a Carmax. They commonly run a local beer sale: $2.00 off of two 4 packs or sixpacks of North Carolina brewed beer. This is very nice however you must actually buy 2 FOUR packs or 2 SIX packs. One 4 and one 6 does not qualify. This is somewhat shitty and stupid. I come here solely because Lowes Foods is know to have a very good selection of local beer (for a supermarket). Also, this sale is flawed and the items routinely do not ring up the discount. Icing on cake: one of the managers, Ms Linda is a bit of a bitch and cops a tude when called to clear this shit up. Nice store, very nice selection, poor execution and unpleasant management (other managers are very nice and helpful).“

“The restaurant and food are both excellent. Very open and filled with plants and books. I like the open market place in the center with the library and the bar is beautiful. They have an extensive selection of house made beers and a great breadth of styles to choose from. Bottles and merchandise sold in house. Cons: beer prices are high for being made on location. Also, the smallest you can get is a 10 oz pour and they don't do flights which makes it difficult to try any number of things for a reasonable price OR level of intoxication.“

“Located in an industrial park. Very friendly staff with an excellent choice of beers. Gizmo operates a 7 barrel system. They are considering some expansion plans. Wood high tables and bar. They also offer soft drinks for non-beer drinkers. Worth the visit. Black IPA and Pale Ale were above average.“

“Intimate little pizza restaurant with limited bar seating, plus some tables. 10 or so beers on tap, with only a pre-selected flight of 4 available for $9 (after tax), but staff will do free samples of anything you want, which end up being more than enough really. Didn't eat here, as there were no vegan options. Beer was hit-or-miss, with a couple of solid ones, a couple that were way off, and the rest average.“

“Very stellar bottle shop in an industrial park and plenty of parking out front. Bottle selection is excellent and they even have some unusual meads. Some beers on tap as well, with a well-chosen list and small pours available. Friendly, helpful staff. Worth a stop, even if I preferred Tasty Beverages marginally.“

“A little far from the centre - about a 20 minute drive out. It's located in a quiet little industrial park, with plenty of outside seating. Over a dozen taps, with flights of 6 available for just $8 (after tax). Lighter and hoppier beers were decent, but the stouts had issues. Very friendly service. Might be worth a stop, but nothing mandatory.“

“Nearly adjacent to Tasty Beverages, this was a fun spot. 12 beers on tap, with pre-selected flights of 5 available (for $8 and $10 after tax). I wish they had the option for custom flights, as neither option was close to the selection I'd have made. Beers were passable with nothing particularly exciting or dialed in extraordinarily. Friendly service and free popcorn is a bonus. Fun spot in somewhat beer-deprived Raleigh.“

“Really cool spot, and in my opinion, eclipses for Bottle Revolution. Extensive bottle selection, logically organized by state and country, including a decent cider and mead selection. There's a bar at the back where you can get single samplers (4-5 oz) of ~10 beers for very cheap ($1-2). Very friendly and informative guy working the bar. Worth a stop, as it's almost adjacent to Crank Arm.“

“Large place right in the centre that is extravagantly themed and designed. Big tap list with custom flights of 4 - mine ended up being a whopping $14 without there really being anything special on it. Beer list is more about quantity than quality, as I didn’t find a whole lot of interesting stuff there. Service is decent. Worth a stop if in Raleigh.“

“Typical brewpub feel near the center, with its tons of bar seating and a small parking lot out front. 8 house taps plus another 20 or so guest taps. 4 oz pours of everything, priced individually and very reasonably. House beers were okay. Service was friendly enough but lacking much care. Not a top place.“

“Big repurposed warehouse, Several nooks and crannies to hang out in. Big parking lot with no signs or markings, so Mad Max parking. Showed up almost two hours after opening time on Saturday, no one around. 5 minutes later, guy shows up and says the opening man just called in sick. Not a good start. Then the dude busted ass and got everything ready in 10 minutes, serving a steady stream of arrivals by himself. Impressive. Good selection, decent beers. Come here.“

“Huge place, was jam packed and loud on a nice Spring afternoon. Tons of their beers on tap. Dog and kid friendly outside on huge deck. Awesome food truck outside (they get no credit for that though). If anything, too crowded and loud. But great selection of house beers.“

“This is their barrel room close to Sub Noir and Big Boss - you can do all three by foot. Lots of parking place in the industrial area. This big place seemed to be quite popular. There was a food truck outside. Their take of taco was a bit odd. Flights available, Wifi. Lots of taps (20 or so) and beers are above average on Raleigh scale.“

“Kind of combination of pizzeria and bar with outside patio. You can watch pizza guys making pizza in the kitchen. Cozy. Pizzas were large and decent (pizza for two 20 USD). Flights were available. Beers were average, like the service. No Wifi. Parking can be tricky (=on the street).“

“Upscale neat sports bar kind like place close to Tobacco Road, so you can do them both. Both open early. Now they are serving the flights of four. I was at bar so didn't notice "serve yourself" portion. Beers are average but drinkable. Service was friendly. As a ticker, one place to check.“

“Big place north of Raleigh proper. Drive past some sketchy lots and find this oasis. Modern wood and steel furnishings and decor. 11 house beers on tap. Flight of 4 is $6.50. Staff couldn't be nicer. Beers are pretty good. Food truck outside, lots of tables inside and out. Sat at the bar. 12 wines available by glass or bottle . Self-serve water at the end of the bar. 5 flat screens showing sports, no sound. Hip hop music over the stereo system. Kid friendly, with video game, cornhole, darts, board games. One guest cider on tap. Nice bathroom.“

“It's not every day that I get to go to a semi-finalist for a James Beard "best new restaurant in the country" award. Restaurant is pretty beautiful, almost too beautiful - perhaps a little hipster with the "bookstore" and flower shop smack dab in the middle of the place, along with the "library" in the back. The bar however, is beautiful. Great looking stone lines the backing of the tap handles. Everything is brightly lit with soft, pleasant light.

Food is stand out. Really good and actually decently priced and portioned for the upscale atmosphere.

Beers are pretty well crafted. Good selection of core beers as well as rotating beers. Beers are a touch pricey, and you can't get half pours of the beers. Full pours only.“

“Nice large restaurant and brewpub. The beers we tried were all very good and a few were great. We especially enjoyed one that we got in a bottle - a bottle aged Flanders style sour ale. We had a pizza that was decent, but come for the beer.“
