“Small liquor store/deli. Used to live down the street a little way. Not an enormous selection of bottles, but all decent stuff (minus the typical Bud, Miller, etc.). Prices are pretty good, too. You won’t really find anything crazy here, but it’s an okay place to grab a bottle or two.“

“This is another of the old time stores that have been doing the beer thing since before it was cool. First viisted in 2006 and used to go here regularly before I heard of Lonehill. He’s still doing alright but just doesnt have the selection of Lonehill. What you can find here is all the latest Stone releases and most of the distributed California stuff. He also has a seemingly random collection of imports that you cant always find other places.

Last time I was there I noticed a sign advertising BBQ which got me excited. Doing a little research shows that people in the area seem to think it’s pretty good. Will have to go back and try it out.“

“Visited June 26, 2013.

I feel bad for not having visited this sooner. This was one of the liquor stores in the area that I was told about 8 years ago before I heard of Lone HIll and I just never visited. This is a nice little store and I was pleasantly surprised to see the Ratebeer tags on the beers.

Saw some AleSmith, Bruery, and all the classics like Weihenstephaner, Rochefort, and St Bernardus. Also saw 750s of Beersel Gueuze and Kriek which I thought was pretty awesome. There are plenty of California beers to pick from not mentioned above. It’s a small store so you wont find the selection of Total Wine or Bevmo but what he does have seems to be pretty well thought out. My only complaint is that there are no prices on any of the bottles which was irritating.

Aside from the beer I didnt pay any attention to the rest of the store. I’ll stop back in next time I’m heading down Arrow.“
