78 /100 50, RUE WELLINGTON NORD Large place downtown Sherbrooh. Spaceous bar in the basement, smaller patio at the street level. About 14 beers on tap and tasty snacks. Frindly staff. |
92 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Great place, maybe the best place in Sherbrook. Lots of local and canadian beers as well as abroad. Lots of refrigerators full of cool stuff. Smart staff, very knowledgeable. Spent a nice time there. |
86 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Nice location in an old train station close to downtown Sherbrook. Lots of locals here, about 14 beers on tap, nice sours and saisons. Food wa tasty, smart and frindly staff. |
98 /100 Le King Hall (Bar) 286, RUE KING OUEST Visited King Alexandre, which is located right beside but with the same owners. Fantastic food made from fresh local ingredients and some incredible flavors. Curated beer list is huge and only includes great beers (local and imported). Waiters have super great knowledge of their beer list and have great recommendations. Prices are more than fair for quality. |
62 /100 2155, RUE GALT OUEST Located close to UdeS, this place popular with students and packed up as i was leaving. Located on a semi comercial street in an farm like building with very wooden traditional feel, this place seemed to be promising. Large seating area, and long bar, with some patio seating outside. Beers were just OK, with lots of little butterscotch notes i dont enjoy (even in the stout). Flight of 5 for 13$ tax included. Food menu lloked decent but did not eat there. |
100 /100 Le King Hall (Bar) 286, RUE KING OUEST The best bar/pub in town by far. The staff is amazing, true passionate professionals. 30 rotating beers on tap, a beer cella with over 250 different bottled beers mostly from Quebec but from all around the world. And over 300 different spirits. The ambiance, drinks (and beers) and food is amazing! Would recommend to the entire planet! Cheers |
100 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Meilleurs endroits à Sherbrooke pour de la bière exceptionnelle!

90 /100 Le King Hall (Bar) 286, RUE KING OUEST Visited on September 25, 2019, in the afternoon at the opening. Located on the highest point in downtown Sherbrooke, the entry however is located next to the parking lot via Alexandre St or Gillespie St. Last time I was in Sherbrooke was in 2010, that place was way off my radar, I'm not even sure if this was a good beer bar, well it is. A mix of pub and high class bar, not big by the looks of it but there are several section including a pool room, a second floor with a terrasse. About 30 beers on tap, more than 20 are rotating and for the most part quite interesting, I had the Bas-Canada Substance, it's a freaking vanilla chocolate cake with coconut. An impressive bottle menu, and they sometimes tap takeovers and rare bottle events, they even have a beer cellar. If your with someone who is not in to beer, this is a great cocktail bar, food wise however is quite limited. Great service, quite meticulous. A major beer destination in the Eastern Townships!
|
82 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Visited on September 23, 2019, in the evening. Located in the very commercials section of King, but just off that street. it is their second brewpub not just in Sherbrooke but overall. BTW, I've visited all three of them. Not like the two others, this one is in a new building, two storeys and a bit bigger than the Dépôt location. The tap selection is about the same like the two others and you can't go wrong with what they got. Food wise, they specialise in pizza, like the Dépôt location specialise in fish and chips (including salmon), the pizza are not too big, good enough for one person, or you can share for a small bit, btw they are quite good. Very good service, the waitress even notice something wrong with our plates before arriving to our table. A very fine brewpub! |
66 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Rock Forest (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 4692, BOULEVARD BOURQUE Visited on September 23, 2019, in the afternoon. Located in the main highway (Route 112 east bond), I stop by just to kill some time before heading to my hotel. Not a bad beer selection, many locals and a few rarities, but somewhat disorganised except for the IPA frig. Not a bad beer selection, many locals and a few rarities, but somewhat disorganised except for the IPA frig. But they do have a nice selection of local products, especially wine. It's a nice place! |
56 /100 2902, RUE COLLEGE Amazing, last place rating here is from 8 years ago... Well it hasn't really changed. Grimy bar that happens to be one of Quebec's first craft beer places, several decades old at this point. Right in downtown lennox, parking is available, huge patio out front. Same beers since day 1 I guess, nothing has changed since I started drinking beer 10 years ago. The bitter is my goto here, it's actually pretty decent. Prices are low. Definitely not a crafty craft beer place, but a decent bar. |
90 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Great place. Nice selection, mostly cold. Shelf of "new" beers. Wicked nice owner. Had a fun time there and brought home my 8 litres. |
76 /100 2155, RUE GALT OUEST Large place with a relatively large patio on a major artery of Sherbrooke, quite close to the university. The decor is nice, the place is generally quiet during the summer when the students are gone. I had very good service, the food is basic pub grub but done well and prices are quite reasonable. They have a selection of average quality brewpub beers (10 taps of their own, with some other beers/ciders from other breweries). Nice place! |
80 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Basically everything you can expect from a good beer store in Quebec, a full range of products from a multitude of good breweries, most of the storage is refrigerated, knowledgeable staff that can answer questions and a couple beer snacks to grab while you're collecting stuff for your next tasting. Prices are decent, pretty standard for the type of place. I did see some old beer in there, so make sure you check dates. Otherwise, I don't really see a need to shop anywhere else when you're in Sherbrooke! |
46 /100 151, RUE KING OUEST The bar is well located which is probably the only reason it is still in business. The beer is absolutely mediocre and not worth a stop at all. |
74 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Second brewery of one of the more successful Sherbrooke craft breweries. Unlike the downtown train station location (Depot) this one is all about clean & nmodern. It is close to the business part of Sherbrooke, so expect it to be very busy at lunch and early evening. There is a small parking lot and some public parking around. They have pretty much the same beers as the downtown location (8 core beers and 1-2 seasonals) give or take a couple and also offer other drinks, some wine, whiskey and cocktails. The food is simple, but fresh and satisfying, less fried food than your typical pub grub and more vegetarian options which is nice. Nice place, I do largely prefer the ambiance in the Depot location however. |
64 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD really busy place which explains the 3rd location. modern. decent service. where the young people go. beer ok. |
84 /100 Le King Hall (Bar) 286, RUE KING OUEST Visited on a Friday night, they were having a Croatian beer tasting. Beautiful vintage library bar, limited seating on the first floor but more upstairs. They have a ton of taps and quite a few bottles, nice selection with very few duds. Service was good despite it being full and loud, table service didn’t suffer too badly. Easy pub crawling distance from Siboire downtown (up a decent hill though!) Worth a stop if in town. |
52 /100 2155, RUE GALT OUEST Quiet so quiet for a Saturday. The interior / deco mimic the cozy interior of a cottage that’s kinda well done. Place is vast and was showing the game but be aware the sound quality is awful. They don’t brew there yet. All the average are below average brews are brewed at Brasseurs du Monde. Food is classic greasy dish a few burgers, poutines ... Service was ok but with no extra. I have some doubts that the place will live long especially when there’s that much other good quality option in town. That would be my plan E or F when visiting town next time. |
80 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Nice location right in downtown Sherbrooke there is parking and street parking close buy seems possible. Place is nice looking with emphasis on bike. Bike frame become lights, bike gear are glued to the mirror in the bathroom. It’s superb and industrial. Service was good and fast we didn’t ate but food seemed nice. Beer wise everything is ok, I wasn’t blown away but everything was well executed. One neat feature is that you can fill growler to go on the back of the building this is something quite rare for us in Quebec. Well worth the visit. |
82 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Small corner store located in downtown Sherbrooke. Selection is quite impressive with every local breweries with a couple hundred of KMs for this place is represented. They were also a few hard to find beers that were on the shelves. Nice selection of glassware. Staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. Prices are fair considering the selection. |
84 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Superb large building in downtown Sherbrooke with modern decor. Nice patio. Good selection of in-house beers with great staff that know their beers very well. Food is even better then beers with great pizza, duck wings are also incredible and the salmon tartare was really fresh with nice seasoning. Prices are in-lien with this type of establishment. |
80 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Came here on my final night in Sherbrooke for beer and dinner. Decent size modern open place. Long bar when you walk in with some seating around and up the stairs. Smaller patio to enjoy the Quebec Summer’s on. Service was once again friendly and polite. Even more so when factoring Imin that I do not speak the native tounge. Surprisingly, food menu is very different than the depot. The depot was a more casual menu. Here focuses on pizzas and entrees. Beer selection was the same but still serviceable for my needs. Would also return here. |
86 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Came here for dinner and a few bneers. Service was friendly, despite my lack of speaking French. Food menu was small but everything looked good. I had the hot dog which was hhhhnnnnggghhhh. Three beers, all of which where pretty tasty. All wrapped around an old school RR building turned into modern form. Legit beer place. Would most certainly return. |
82 /100 50, RUE WELLINGTON NORD Basement beer bar, Peche Mortel day while I was there, 8 different versions did not suck. Plenty of Deiu du Ciel offerings, great bottle list from around the world. |
84 /100 Le King Hall (Bar) 286, RUE KING OUEST I was lucky enough to be here for a tap take over with La Trou du Diable. Great Bar, nice owners. great place to try lot’s of nice Quebec beers. |
62 /100 2155, RUE GALT OUEST Visited on a week day not too long after opening so it was pretty quiet. Medium sized place, located not too far from Université de Sherbrooke. The bartender was sympathic, but didn’t knew much about the beers outside of what was written on the board already. Selection included 6 of their beers (brewed at Brasseurs du Monde for the moment). Tasters are available. Quality of the beers is average, so there’s definitely room for improvements here. Food menu is limited, but there’s a few interesting pub option. I had one of the fancy grilled cheese that was ok for the price. A decent place that I would not hesitate to visit again if I am in the area but it’s definitely not worth a trip in order to visit, at least for the moment. |
88 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Last stop on my way out of Canada yesterday, I had a bit of Canadian currency that I didn’t want to bring home with me so what better way than converting it to beer? Small shop in the middle of town I guess, my GPS got me here. Parking is sparse, but I found a spot around the corner. Selection well, I have only gas stations to compare it to, but there were at least 300 labels I’d never seen before. I looked around for a few minutes and when the guy was finished helping the woman shopper he came over to help me. My French and his English weren’t a good match so he called over the guy who was putting a beer delivery away to assist. They went on to tell me that they carry only Quebec beers although I did see a couple of imports. They helped me spend the last of my money and assisted with packaging so these would arrive safely via motorcycle. Pricing seemed on par with what I would expect to pay in the States which seemed odd since everything else on this trip seemed expensive. I’ll go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in the area.

80 /100 40, BOULEVARD JACQUES-CARTIER SUD Visited on a Wednesday afternoon with czar and Franky Boy.
Ambiance: Small place where we can see the brewery equipment. Not a lot of seating and it was beginning to be crowded already at 3 p.m. Not too crowded, just a sign that the place is working quite well. Service: Super friendly service. The staff seems to be quite educated about the products. Selection: A dozen taps with their beers + a cider. The only let down was that the "tasters" can only be their regular beers and, because they ran out of one of these, tasters weren’t available at all. BUT, without asking for it, we kindly receive a taster of every beer we didn’t ordered a full glass of. They also have growler available a few days a week in an adjacent beer store. Food: I didn’t try the food, but the pizza looked pretty darn tasty. Value: Prices are in line with most Québec micros. Average. Overall: Beautiful place with a good ambiance, some more than decent beer, a friendly and educated staff and decent prices. It’s nice that they fill growlers at the adjacent store too. A really welcomed addition on the Sherbrooke Québec beer scene. |
84 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD La place à Sherbrooke pour acheter des bières de microbrasserie. Personnelle sympathique et qualifié. |
96 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Je suis Sherbrookois et j’adore cette microbrasserie !! Très bonnes bières, ambiance super et bonne musique.
Ma bière préférée est la Calvaire ! |
68 /100 50, RUE WELLINGTON NORD Visited several times. Small but cozy (when not too packed). Service is usually decent/good and beer selection is decent. Some of their experiments aren’t particularly good, but there’s often fun things to try (especially their sours). Prices are a tad high for the area (and compared to Le Siboire). I haven’t tried the food yet. |
80 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Visited several times when I was living in Sherbrooke a couple of years ago and went back recently. Small/medium store. Service is good and knowledgeable... the "new" owner is a passionnate. Selection is also pretty good with most of the Québec regular releases and some limited stuff too. Price are good on most of the stuff. The bottle shop to visit when you are in Sherbrooke. |
78 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Visited several times. Large brewpub in an old, but renovated train station with plenty of seating available and usually a good ambiance. Staff is friendly and usually knowledgeable about beer. Selection is mostly of their stuff, but there’s usually a good amout of their beers available and what they do isn’t bad at all. Food menu isn’t huge, but the quality is there. Prices are good. A very nice place that is definitely worth a visit if you are in Sherbrooke. The best moment to go there though is during La Soirée des Crus which is an annual event with great guest beers and really good food pairing. |
66 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Solid selection of Quebec craft. Place is limited in the charm department, but it serves it’s purpose well enough. Staff was eager to help and pleasant to deal with, clearly passionate about beer. |
62 /100 151, RUE KING OUEST Neat spot. Very quiet inside, sparse decor. I like it, but it’s not for everyone. More for contemplation. Beer range is pretty limited, core beers out of the kid 90s brewpub list... Blonde, red, stout, etc. seasonals are more adventurous. Pints are cheap. Not eating but food looks good. |
76 /100 50, RUE WELLINGTON NORD Weird spot. Tons of space, but like 10 seats. As if a concert is about to start. Decent range of their beer on tap. Prices tolerable, service present and appropriate. Be interesting to come late on a busy weekend. |
76 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Really neat location. Big space, more lounge than pub. Decent range of choices of their own beer and one guest. A bit on pricey side. Would come back. |
|
80 /100 50, RUE WELLINGTON NORD Nice place. A bit dark, though. Service was good, great selection. Some beers were horribly expansive, though. Nevertheless, I’d go back anytime I’m in town. |
92 /100 Au Vent du Nord - Bières Dépôt Sherbrooke (DBSQ) (Beer Store) 338, RUE BELVÉDÈRE NORD Great place, helpful personnel, nice selection. Love the fact they organize tasting sessions every two weeks. |
84 /100 80, RUE DU DÉPÔT Very nice place, larger than I would have expected. Service was top notch, beer was wonderful. Great place. |
