“Seems to be a decent blend of rustic North woods to old school British Tavern sort of ambiance. Samuel Smith’s used to be on tap, I think it still shows up from time to time. But Long Trail and Rock Art tend to be the main taps, some Otter Creek and Smuttynose too. Food is average in my opinion. Service tends to be pretty good here.“

“August 2006: First you should know that at the moment Thirsty Bull is NOT brewing; apparently they did have their own beer briefly early in the year but have had some kind of QC problems lately and have nothing now. Currently there are 8 taps of all VT stuff, nothing too exciting. The ambiance is typical rustic north woods/hunting lodge, but they have a really nice patio overlooking the river so that gets points. Service was nice too, but the food (burger with seemingly canned mushrooms and pre-packaged fries) was really mediocre, so I cannot recommend this place at the moment. Will update when/if they start serving own beer again.“
