Kappy’s Liquors (Beer Store)
474 BOSTON POST ROAD
“Nice joint with a very friendly staff and service. Not a beer mecca but certainly a spot that does better than almost anywhere else in the immediate area. Fair prices and a few gems can be found here. Mostly run of the mill micros with a few choice local selections which are varied and rotated fairly regularly. Good deals on wine and spirits if that means anything in this forum. A nice place to stop by for sure, good for the area, and totally worth a visit for a few brews, but not worth a pilgrimage from hours away.“

“Came home to visit my parents who live in sudbury and found that Mackinnon’s the traditional town wine store had expanded its beer selection in a huge way. Sadley the stores beer guru is apparently leaving soon but he left the store with a sold selection of American Crafts and some decent Euro Beers. They also have a nice deal on building your own six pack. Although the store is as always a tad over priced.“

“The big stucco thing on Rt 20, very plain looking. Large clean store, Beer is on the right as soon as you walk in. Never got or asked for help so score is left in middle. Great New England selection, So so import selection. Larger national distributed crafts. No gems, not worth going out of your way for, but a solid store if your in the area.“

“I randomly passed this, and liking kappys, decided to stop in. Typical large NE Micro selection included most of the Cisco line, including last years Braggywinkle barleywine. Some interesting imports, no special belgians, but a lot of local stuff.“
