“One of the best Hungarian proper craft brewpubs. 6 beers on tap + 2 bottles. One of the best Hungarian IPA's, very decent stout & wit, other beers don't disappoint either. The place itself is rather small, kind of village pub, but very cozy & nice. Service was very good.“

“Visited a sunny Friday in april. A nice surprise to find this spot in the outskirts of Székesfehérvar in an industrial area close to the main road towards Budapest. Their current range of 6 beers was on tap and also as take away in bottles. Not exactly what you would call a charming location. Apart from that some snacks, soda and lemonade. The star amongst their beers is the Lager, the Helles was unbelievably fresh and highly drinkable. The rest is more average, clean and freshly made trough. I was offered samples of their range of beers and brought a couple of bottles to take home. The place was completely empty during our visit on a Friday night, maybe the location plays in?“

“Visited on a hot summers Friday night in July. A few tables outside on street, and 20 seats in a small garden (watch your head) when you walk out there. Inside wasn't too warm despite being in basement. Attractive tiled two roomed bar, with about 8 seats at bar. 16 taps, and all Hungarian, hurrah! About 30 bottles/cans (including 8 from Brewdog). 30cl and 50cl sevrved on draught. Average price was HUF790 for 30cl, and HUF990 for 550cl. Largely locals drinking 30cls, but some expat business. To me this bar would stand out in any major city, being in regional Hungary, it really is exceptional. A must VISIT if in area. BTW - Some basic food was available, but all in Hungarian. One area for improvement, a menu with short description of beers, where they are from, ABV, and some tasting notes would be appreciated. Landlord said beers regularly rotate. Beeralo is as good as it gets, well done to the Owner.“

“Place opened in December 2017. Basement bar in the old part of Székesfehérvár. 16 Hungarian craft beers on tap, and approx. 15 foregin bottles. First time I've seen a "modern" Hungarian craft beer place outside of Budapest. Small basement bar with green tiles and white walls, two rooms and two TV-screens showing int. football. Fast, friendly service with a good knowledge of the beers. Very popular in weekends amongst the younger crowd. Highly recommended and a welcomed modernisation of the beer scene.“

“A bar/brasserie in connection with the Szent Gellert Hotel in the centre of Szekesfehervar. Visited three times over the last two years. Fairly mordern place with a working wi-fi which still is a big thing in Hungary. Selection is the three contract brewed house beers and a fridge with other Hungarian craft like MONYO. Bar staff has zero knowledge of the beers. The bar also sells café dishes, coffee and tea. Recommended for the pleasant, straightforward house beers.“

“Nice café in Szekesfehervar, with a traditional, brown interior, old fashioned quotes painted on the walls and a nice, laid back ambience. Selection is small, with focus on the four traditional Czech Bernard beers on tap and a single Schofferhoffer Weizen. Barnard selection is an unfiltered Pilsner, Tmavý, Lager and a Polotmavý. Bottled beers includes a full range of Erdinger beers and a few other mainstream German beers. A range of the sweet, artificial Belgian fruit Lambieks from Timmermans. Coffee, tea and pub grub avaliable. The main attraction is of course the Czech Bernard beers, which I found in excellent condition and highly drinkable. Prices are dirt cheap by Northern European standards and well below Budapest level. This place is no where outstanding, but far better what you can expect in the wine country Hungary outside of Budapest. Best place in Szekesfehervar.“

“You can buy here the 3 beers of Szekesfehervar. A pilsner - szent gellert, a porter - prepost, and a hefeweizen - szent imre. They also sell a big sortiment of Monyo brewery in bottles. Also present some other, smaller Hungarian breweries. “

“Okay.. it’s a hypermarket, but it offers the widest selection of beers ins Szekesfehervar, even some Hungarian craft beers. selection: all the Hungarian common lagers, hefeweizens from Germany, ~ 10 types of craft beers, wide Belgian selection, some Asian, Slovakian, German ones. English also present: robinson, courage, young’s.“

“Although it is named after Prague, their Czech beer selection is poor. Krusovice, vencel mostly german lagers and hefes here. Seasonal: Erdinger Schneeweiße They’ve got 1 liter tankards.“

“Don’t let the name mislead you. It’s mostly a winebar, but they have got a nice selection of Hungarian craft beer. Full repertoire of: - Szent András főzde - Szarvasi főzde - Bigfoot - Fóti + some Czech beers. Not tapped, only bottle conditioned. Service is very friendly. They have 2 stores on the same street, next to each other. One is a shop, -buy, take it, leave. The second is the bar.“

“Have a mix of local, national and international beers plus a cider on tap. Mostly the usual stuff. Fine interior, but lazy waiter. Had to insist to get beer, and we had to wait a long time to get it. We wasn’t allowed to sit outside, I think he was to lazy to make the walk out there when serving us. Loud music.“
