We struggled a little as there were no English menus but staff did their best to translate for us. prices were reasonable (for Japan). It is a smoking bar which always annoys me though.“ |
| 74 /100 Melo Bar Takamatsu (Bar) FURUSHINMACHI 10-3 “A somewhat new place opened in the craft beer desert of Kagawa, 10 minute walk from JR Takamatsu station. Friendly owner Nyabe was eager to make us feel at home. She speaks English well and is plugged into the J-beer scene. Nice lineup of Japanese craft (Baeren, Baird, Iwatekura, Y Market etc.) and a few imports. Some interesting bottles in the fridge too. Not cheap but not outrageous either, around 1000-1100/400mls. Food was all good 400-1800 a dish. Popular with the younger crowd on weekends, salarymen weekdays.“ |
