“The place was busy on our visit, they had 4 taps were marked out as sold out, but still plenty to choose from. The venue had more seating outside than inside. The food was good and and reasonably priced, another bonus was they had plenty of staff available. The beers were in good condition and also reasonably priced. “

“Solid venue in Mt. Maunganui. Lots of Mount beers as well as guest taps, 40 taps in total. Nice variety of styles, guest taps at least change frequently. Nice 'biance and good outdoor space. Good food, tasty dumplings and other stuff. Good service. One of the best places in town.“

“Enough stuff to get you through a Tauranga stay here. A few coolers of bottles with lots of the better brewers from NZ represented: Epic, Liberty, Renaissance, Garage Project, Emerson's, Panhead, etc. Spacious layout. Decent people from what I can tell.“

“Nearest bottle store to me but also one of the best selection of craft/mainstream beer in the Bay of Plenty. Note that this is on the Mt side of the harbour bridge & that as of 07/2018 it's in the middle of the Bayfair flyover project. Haven't tested the staff knowledge much but friendly enough. Discount for SOB members. As per Skarecrow's review, do check the expiry dates - no doubt a downside to the large selection!“

“Good selection of taps including local and NZ wide. Several breweries who make good beer but don't pop up on the Auckland bar scene too often for whatever reasons. Flight available, no limitations. Live music while we were there. Bit of an atmosphere.“

“Home of both Mount Brewing Co and Funk Estate. Mount do a good range of classic styles pretty well, Funk Estate are a bit more experimental, with a fun selection of well brewed IPAs, sours and a very decadent imperial stout. Pub has an impressive number of taps, with flights of five available at very good prices. Beers were 9 Mount, about 6 Funk Estate, loads of guests and a massive range of ciders. Nice outdoor space. On an industrial estate but you can't tell when you're inside. Parking easy at the weekend, but it's probably somewhere you'd need to drive.“

“BBQ food and a range of Mount and Funk Estate beers. Flights available of beers from either brewery. Food was delicious and really good value. Probably my favourite place we visited in the Tauranga area, though perhaps more for the tacos than the beers.“

“Stopped in here while in Tauranga recently. Picked up a few foreign beers I haven’t seen in Auckland plus a few new NZ releases. About 6-8 craft beer taps. Well over 100 different craft beer selections in bottle format, both on the shelf and in chiller. All the local brewers plus some off-shore ones I was not familiar with. Some of the imported stock was past it’s BB date so it always pays to check.“
