“My second time to this World of Beer, seven years after the first. We had lunch with the service being good and the food even better. Unfortunately the beers on tap varied significantly from the ones listed online. I got a flight of two Belgians, a marzen and a dipa. Found the quads to be mostly flat and the marzen not nearly cold enough. I anticipated a better experience.“

“It started off bad and didn’t get much better. Not many people here tonight, probably more staff than customers. Waited for 10 minutes and was getting ready to leave when someone finally helped me. Several waiters saw me, just didn’t want to help. The food was just Ok, wouldn’t order any of it again though. They have flights but expensive. The best of the ones I had was the "beer of the month" for $3. They decided to rearrange the place while customers are still here. The bathrooms are gross.“

“Smaller than the other WOBs I’ve visited. There is a long outdoor bar that wraps around part of the front and most of one side. Very good service. Steadily busy, but never crowded. The Villages is an interesting community. Where WOB is situated offers a view of some of the more interesting town square store fronts and amphitheater park. I enjoyed my visits here.“

“Nice version of this craft beer chain tucked away in the new Brownswood downtown of The Villages. In fact it was my first visit to Brownswood that I hit this place while visiting my Mom who lives in The Villages. Having gone to a few other WOB’s I knew what to expect...but somehow this one was better. Probably due to being in The Villages...the surrounding square and town...the outside tables...very friendly staff...and the always fun clientele of The Villages. At a place like this you hit the flights...only way to do it right. The food is not bad at all...try the big pretzel...better than most. Note that they have live music here sometimes...and when they don’t you can enjoy the live music out on the square from the outdoor tables. Certainly worth a visit...especailly with little else between Gainseville and Orlando to choose from.“

“Part of a franchise, it truly has 38 taps and rotates the selections. A tasting option is available with 5 oz. glasses. The list of beers by the bottle runs 14 pages, with a fair selection of domestic (Stone, Founders, New Belgium, Avery, North Coast, etc) and imported,. All my choices were available, but browsing the selections on-site is tough as they are only displayed in glass cabinets behind the bar inside. Servers are eager but largely young and relatively untrained. All in all, a remarkable oasis in a large retirement community.“
