60 /100 Ralph’s Joy of Living (Beer Store) 33 NORTH WASHINGTON STREET I grew up in Tiffin, this had always been an appliance store until recently when the next generation took over the family business. My aunt mentioned buying a couple bottles of lambic from here so I had to check this place out for myself. Although it’s not top shelf, the selection is great for the area. Half of the store is appliances, and the other half is high end kitchen supply along with a nice array of craft beers and wines. I visited the morning after Christmas right before I left town to return home, it was obvious their inventory had been depleted due to the holiday. I was still able to find about 10 beers that I can’t find locally. Prices are about right, a few seemed marked up more than normal. The store is real nice inside and the salesman was very nice and chatty. To date this is the only store in the Tiffin area where I have been able to find such great craft beers and I am extremely excited to stop in every time I return to my home town. |
