“Restaurant was closed at the time of visit so I just bough beer to go. Service was very friendly and with positive attitude. The ambiance was solid with good vibe. Can not comment on beers yet as they are yet to be reviewed.“

“Yeah, tiny LCBO but it has few local craft beers that you can buy including Tobermory one. Service was above average friendly. It cant hurt to see if you might scoop something new.“

“same taplist as the brewery, just more taps on maybe 10, and lots more room. Always busy all the time. Note you have to go up stairs with no elevator.“

“The guest beers are better than their house taps, and a couple from Powerhouse in London, Ontario the best of that lot. Busy, but good service. Only pints sold as too busy for flights. Tasters if not too busy.“

“If you get to the end of the Bruce Peninsula (maybe taking the ferry to Manitoulin Island & beyond) or are staying locally, this is by some distance the best option for beer & for a decent meal. The atmosphere is that of a large log cabin with several sections. Service is extremely friendly & rapid, offering a range of good hearty meals at reasonable prices that will satisfy most people. I have taken UK natural history tour groups there over a number of years and all the customers liked this bar & grill. (We use Tobermory as our base for the Bruce & hence have several evenings where we’re looking for a meal & refreshment). The attraction for the beer drinker is the house brewery - much to be preferred to the ubiquitous brands available in most other Tobermory bars & restaurants. The flight of 6 beers covers a good range of styles and, though I would agree with other reviewers that there is nothing exceptional, equally there is nothing at which to turn one’s nose up.“

“Diner and Restaurant straight ahead the ferry port. 5 taps, mostly macros, but still about a nice local crat beer on tap. f.e. from Owen Sound. Not worth a detour, but if you stay at Tobermory (and you quit TBC and Crowsnest), just looj in side. Smart staff, solid food.“

“First stop on our upper Great Lakes craft beer and culture tour (after hitting some Toronto breweries). Very nice place to refresh while waiting for the Chi-Cheemaun to arrive. Great décor and atmosphere...with a nice size outside porch. The staff here is excellent...helpful and great for conversation. I also highly recommend the food. As for the beers...decent enough...small selection...no real standouts...but nothing that I had any issues with either. I probably would not recommend coming just for the beer...but if you've made it all the way to Tobermory anyway...then it's a must visit while in town.“

“2016-10-13. First impression of the interior is sort of cottage or log cabin lodge like. We sat in a large comfortable high walled booth which offers a bit of privacy in a relatively small place. The menu is unexpectedly impressive, but with pricing to match. My burger with cheese and a small flight is about $35 The burger was a good sized and good, but I had hoped for more at the price. They seem to be trying to source local ingredients which may explain some of the pricing. Beers were decent but mostly just okay. The black IPA was the best of the three I tried. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town.“
