“We came here again after 10 years on 7.5.2017 and were very positively surprised about the craft beer selection they have added recently. Steirereck is well known for great regional food and typical Styrian ambience. Now they have also added 20 Austrian craft beers and special draft beer from Gösser. They also offer Bier Stacheln (hot iron rod inserted into the beer) and a special mix of Guiness and lager. The craft beer list is excellent: Bevog, Brew Age, Miyamato, Loncium, Brauschneider, Fleck’s and others. Ordering a beer at the bar was almost an impossible undertaking, which was surprising as normally the service in the restaurant is extremely professional. Definitely worth a visit not only for the beer. If you have the chance stay overnight in one of their very unique hotel rooms (Vogelhaus or Hey room).“
