74 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 Disclaimer: I promise Ill visit the spot again when all the dust after the lockdown has settled. As for now, the selection is disappointingly poor (and this is now the only craft pub in Tychy), not all the taps are running and available beers had their premieres a longer while ago (again- this may have a lot to do with the lockdown). The interior looks impressive. A few snacks are the only food offer. Bottles quite pricey, a flight- cheap as chips (15pln for 5 glasses, no exclusions). |
82 /100 Swiat Piwa (Beer Store) BACHA 3D Blessing for Tychy. They don't run a fanpage so can't track the deliveries but the selection is decent whatsoever and one will always get sth worth the pennies. Fun fact: now, after the closure of most beer shops in Katowice, there is only one shop better than this one in small town of Tychy. |
64 /100 Gambrinus (Bar) UL. JANA PAWLA II 10 The older brother of Wielokran. Much smaller and darker, with a limited beer selection. Still the second best pub in the city, which does not say much though. Fair enough. |
88 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 Dosc duza oferta piwa z tapów i butelkowanego. |
68 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 Warty odwiedzenia ale szalu nie ma. |
66 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 They started off reasonably well. Located in the very center of the city, with a nice, minimalistic, modern interior, 20 taps and a smaller bottle selection. With time things have changed though. Only 10 taps seem to be operational as of now, with most being equipped with selected craft beers, complemented by Czech lagers. Tychy does not seem to be really a craft beer hotspot, which is a shame, as Wielokran used to bee one of my favourite multitap bars in Poland. |
46 /100 UL. MIKOŁOWSKA 5 You can take a brewery tour, where you can experience nice, old brick buildings, contrasting with the oversized metal tanks and the corporate agitprop that will inevitably ooze from the tour guide’s mouth. Still pretty fun. You can spare yourself their beers that you will be offered by the end of the tour though. |
58 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 W zasadzie jedyny multitap w mieście. Wybór piw z kranu nie za duży (10 w dniu 19.08.16) chociaż kranów jest znacznie więcej. Trochę butelek w lodówce. Obsługa sprawna. Jedzenie - raczej niewiele, ale przekąsić można. Ceny standardowe. |
58 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 Biggest multitap in the city. And it suffers from that tremendously. The beers are often served 3 or 4 weeks old, and the selection is limited mostly to Czech lagers and Polish craft beers from under average breweries.
The service is fine, but they knowledge could be better. Food (sandwiches) are fine. Overall it’s not bad, but it has it problems - and the biggest problem is lack of customers looking for something different than another cheap eurolager. |
80 /100 Cynamon Klubokawiarnia (Bar) AL. JANA PAWŁA II 20 The best pub in city, considering it’s not strictly devoted to beers. Ambiance is great and the service outstanding. Selection of beers is fine (could be better, though), but the owner does his best. There’s a lot of other great and uncommon bottles (mostly bourbons and whiskys). Strongly recommended! |
70 /100 Wielokran (Bar) PLAC BACZYNSKIEGO 2 Przyjemne miejsce z dużą ilością kranów i całkiem niezłym wyborem butelek. Miła obsługa, normalne ceny. Trochę kiepska lokalizacja. |
90 /100 Swiat Piwa (Beer Store) BACHA 3D Great place with a variety of beers and qualified staff. Low prices and very friendly atmosphere. |
74 /100 Swiat Piwa (Beer Store) BACHA 3D Fajny sklep z dobrym wyborem , ceny dosyæ wysokie ale liczy siê ¿e maj± to co chcesz :)
|
100 /100 Swiat Piwa (Beer Store) BACHA 3D Definitely the best beer shop in Tychy. Almost 500 different bottled beers from all over the world. |
70 /100 Swiat Piwa (Beer Store) BACHA 3D One of the best equipped beer stores in southern Poland, maybe the best equipped store in Upper Silesia. The owner knows what he’s selling. Most Polish brews plus a couple Lithuanian, Russian, Ukrainian, a couple more German and Belgian (many 0.75l bottles), some rarer stuff. |
