74 /100 STATION TERRACE
“Visited with Margie and some friends on Saturday afternoon 15th April 2023. It's the old station waiting room and it's been left like that really! Huge market outside, some seating too, close to the pub wall. Inside it's just a bar, free juke box, board games and people drinking. Four hand-pulls and four or so keg lines, all local stuff apart from cask Black Sheep. Liked the vibe of it, but we were on a mission so only had two beers here before moving on.“

“Wish I’d noticed this place when I arrived on Saturday. Tried two cask beers on a Sunday night and both in banging condition. Ambiance is craft beer over pub vibe. 4 on cask and 12+ on keg and some classics bottles (Chimay, Rochefort, plus decent UK craft etc). Friendly service and chatty customers. Found my happy place while chilling for an hour before a drive back to London the next day.“

“Large pub in Tynemouth From Street. Comfortable, clean and well kept seating area with nice selection of Belgian beer memorabilia on the walls. Beer selection is good with several cask and kegoprions, usually local beers and particularly Cameron's who have an owning stake in the chain, Very good for bottled Belgian beers with a good selection with the addition of having the corresponding glasses for each beer, a nice touch. Often visit here for a quick beer. Usually something new and interesting on. Prices okay, but a little expensive for the Belgian bottles.“

64 /100 THE ARCADE, FRONT STREET
“Trendy bar with food off a side street in Tynemouth. Sort of a young vibe with shabby chic decor. Bar has a couple of casks beers on plus several taps. Was able to get Beavertown Neck Oil on draft. Quite a few generic macro brands though. Food is fairly light, chicken, nachos etc. Quite a good vibe when busy. Bar staff don't seem that knowledgeable about the beer they're selling.“

“Arty European styled bar, artwork for sale on the walls, cosy if lacking atmosphere. There is a restaurant upstairs. 3 hand pumps. Worth a peep.“

“This is a traditional old boozer at the castle end of town but still on the main drag. Racing on the T.V with plenty of punters watching. Friendly, wooden boarding. Decent place.“

“Friendly, modern concept bar, maybe in the style of an American diner on the main road in town. Comfortable, friendly staff and a decent range of beers to be tried. A pretty decent place to visit.“

“Quite a large pub on the main drag through Tynemouth, owned and recently updated by the Stonegate Pub Co. Quite food orientated inside but with a good range of beers on hand pumps, bottles and draught. The real delight is the recently improved patio area with heated individual huts, very nicely done. For us the best pub in Tynemouth.“
