68 /100 Acqua & Farina (Restaurant) VIA G. VACCARI, 110 We went here because Sapore, my favourite pizza place was closed. This is smallish pizza place featured on some of the top pizza places lists. Pizza is very good, but not as good as some of the best pizzerias in Italy. Basic, but neat interior. Couple of usual macro suspects on tap, but they had several Birrone beers in cans as well as Lariano. Good quality local beers which are perfect combo for pizza. |
74 /100 PIAZZA DELLE ERBE 9/B Visited in the late afternoon and stayed till the evening. Bar has quite narrow interior with not much space to move around. Couple of tables in front of the bar and then some more bit further away at piazza. Not a big fan of such setup, but I guess some will like it. Solid selection of draft beers + some cans and bottles. Nothing super interesting, so in terms of beer offer the original location is way better. Friendly and attending service. Certainly worth checking out if you're in town. |
78 /100 CONTRÀ GIACOMO ZANELLA 8 Medium sized pub. Somewhat dark, modern, but still somehow cozy interior. Good setup of Italian beers including two casks. Free snacks. Certainly worth checking out if you're in town. |
64 /100 VIA VECCHIA FERRIERA, 123 Visited in the early afternoon, the place was quite busy. Patio outside and industrial interior inside. However the interior struck me more as a coffee shop/bakery than a beer place. No bar to sit at. We focused on the fridge with 10-15 bottles/cans. Not sure if anything was available on tap it did not seem so. Looking at the online pictures different setup was in place at some point and there seem to be more bars/rooms, but haven't seen them anywhere. Anyhow wouldn't mind if we had give this place a pass. |
88 /100 PIAZZA DELLE ERBE 9/B Incredibile location just on the Palladian city center , some seats out side on Piazza delle Erbe which is absolutely gorgeous.. nice place even in with white wall and wood ceiling which is informal with a easy going feeling .. the selection is absolutely top with all the styles covered from local lagers / pils to spontaneous fermentation beers , good and kind service , if I really want to find a “ wrong thing “ the bar area its too small and there is space for 3/4 people only .. but this place it’s a top place ! |
98 /100 PIAZZA DELLE ERBE 9/B location straordinaria come la selezionee il loro cibo |
80 /100 PIAZZA DELLE ERBE 9/B New bar in Vicenza center, very small and packed on a friday night, opened 4 weeks ago. Lots of taps nice selection in think mostly rotating, all italian micros. Likely best beer spot in town. |
64 /100 STRADA VICINALE MONTE CROCETTA,6 Locale molto carino, ma le birre sono di qualità molto bassa, cibo appena sufficiente... peccato |
54 /100 STRADA VICINALE MONTE CROCETTA,6 Tricky to find. Brewery is located in the Country Club (no sign/mentioning of the brewery anywhere). But when you find it you end up in a nice place with 6 brews on tap. Although most of the brews are ordinary this place can be well worth of your visit. |
54 /100 STRADA VICINALE MONTE CROCETTA,6 Great place, but terrible beer. only their own production. i hope they will improve. |
82 /100 Red Quill Pub (Bar) VIA DIVISIONE FOLGORE, 7H One of the many English pub look-alikes in Vicenza, but probably the best of all of them. Interior is all wood and smoky (being one of the few bars in the city that allows indoor smoking), beer selection is wide and varied (including cask ales that change periodically), and typical English pub grub (unfortunately, more like bad Italian imitation of it rather than the real thing). Located in an Italian version of a strip mall and out of the way, so it will take some time and patience to find it. |
74 /100 Birreria No. 1 (Restaurant) STRADA DEL PASUBIO, 498 A good German-style biergarten right on the outskirts of the city. Good food and location, and the beer selection is fair even if it is limited only to the most popular Bavarian lager brands. |
80 /100 STRADA VICINALE MONTE CROCETTA,6 Vicenza’s only brewpub, located a few miles away from the city center. Nice location, good food, and good service. Beer is good, except they rarely have all of the beers listed on the menu. However, they usually still have four or five on tap at any given night. Highly recommend the Montecrocetta, which is their autumn beer. |
