80 /100 BARRIO SANTA ANA
“We took a guided tour of this place with Zita and Hansen. The facilities are quite new, dating from 2011, when they moved here from the original ones, located few km away. The new ones are quite ample, (for a non large cider mill) and well structured. Fermentation tank room was impressive. We had several samples, of the both ciders they produce here, Natural and DOP, right out the fermentors, and had some nice snacks, local cheeses and cured meat, all of them included in the ticket. The old vats hall, where they now hold popular partys, was so nice.“

“Typical asturian "chigre". Classic Sidreria in the heart of one of the capital cider towns in Asturias. Coro cider oferred, quite fresh and tasty. Some typical food, fair prices, frequented by locals and some visitors during high season.“

“You are in the cider pumping heart of Spain, Villaviciosa, and this is one of the most recommended places.
They have many bottles of cider aligned on the wall, I don’t know how many can be actually bought, but the "house cider" (was the Sidra natural J. Tomas" in August 2005) is excellent, sour astringent and tarty.
Do you find your way reading a Spanish menu? then you will be satisfied, the food is excellent as well!
One last thing: they don’t leave the bottle on the table, everytime you want to drink a sip, you call the waitress, she will serve you exactly one inch of cider, pouring by keeping the bottle as high as she can and the glass as low. Unique experience.“
