“Visited on 16th July 2016. A short walk from the station and at the end of a nice, tree lined residential street is this imposing brewpub. There is a small patio out front with stone steps leading inside, there’s a huge beer garden out back which is popular with families. 4 beers on tap, beer was decent, service good and prices good. A really nice place to enjoy the sunshine with a beer.“

“A shortwalk from Waldkirch bahnhof, this imposing building can be found at the end of a residential road. A large, secluded beer garden is at the back. The full range of Hirschenbrau beers are available, which were particular welcome on a warm day. Beers are available to take away. Service was a little distracted although got there eventually. Food was good value and like many country black forest pubs this makes for an excellent detour.“

“Beautiful art-deco brewery bildings near a lake and park on the outskirts of Waldkirch. In the brewery’s office you can buy all their bottles beers (up to five different) plus their Kellerbeer in 2l-bottles. Friendly staff. There is a brewery restaurant with beer garden on the premises.“
