“Visited on 15th May 2016. Large pub on the A5 on the outskirts of Wheaton Aston. The beer range is decent enough with Banks’s and Marstons providing some beers plus a few more unusual guests. Skinners featuring on this visit. The pub is predominantly set up for food and has 3 large rooms, 2 of which are for dining. The Sunday carvery is great value being £8 for a decent portion of meat plus a choice of 25 different veg options. Pile it on the plate. Staff were friendly, beer prices were decent enough and quality was good. It’s not a go to Ratebeer destination but if want a good Sunday lunch and a beer to wash it down with it’s not a bad shout.“
