“Visited 03/07/16. From the outside it is a lovely old country pub. That is until you go on... it’s similar to various other Fuller’s I’ve been in to... all dark brown and black. Gave it a real soulless look and completely out of place with the exterior. Didn’t help that it was completely empty, the only customers sitting outside. Staff didn’t give me my change until they wondered why I was still at the bar and then just came and took my glass from in front of me without saying anything. Had London Pride on twice so really only three ales on. Seemed quite popular with families to be fair, but I just didn’t take to the place.“

“03/07/16. My wife was at a 2 year old’s party so I took the opportunity to visit some pubs in the locality. This pub is on one of my routes to work so have driven past it numerous times. Was interested to know what it was like. The main thing that had stopped me dropping in was that it’s just not a very attractive building. Going inside there was a right hand room that was empty. However going in to the room to the left it was much more lively, with a group of old boys who were clearly regulars and a couple of tables with people eating. Considering the fact that they weren’t rushed off their feet it took the three bar staff surprisingly long to get around to serving me the two times I went up to the bar, but they were then helpful enough. There are three taps for guests, annoyingly the local Thurston’s Horsell Best was off and did not get replaced in the hour and a half I was there. A couple of macro lagers and the a fridge with various beers and ciders, the most exciting being Leffe. However I’d happily go again. A real local country pub. And I want to sample the food. Oh yeah, £1.80 for a half pint is good around these parts.“

“Fullers Pub. Really on the outskirts of Guildford than Woking. The food was of good quality and a reasonable price. A good clean pub with a decent selection of of 4 Fullers beers on the pumps.“
