“Medium sized bar with large patio outside. Seemed very popular with the locals. Bit sterile interior has sort of restaurant feel to it. Kind service. About 20 beers and ciders on tap. Focus is on the hoppy stuff as expected, but other styles are available as well. Pretty much all PNW and local stuff. Beery were generally quite good and fresh. Food was quite good, both salads and pizzas. Worth checking out if you're in town.“

“Nice little brewery outside Yakima. Parking is very limited. Nice selection of IPAs, including a few fresh hop IPAs in early October. Small but cozy. 11 beers on tap. Nice cheeseboard.“

“Nice little brewery and taproom off the beaten path in Yakima. Maybe 20 taps including several fresh hop ales in early October. Closes early for the fresh hop festival. Pretty good.“

“Great place on paper, but pretty bad execution. **The good**: 45 taps, pour your own beer, pay the by ounce. Some interesting taps, or they would be... **The bad**: Many of the taps are macro swill (Coors Light, Michelob, Corona, Modelo, etc.) Many are gimmicky sweet commercial ciders. Some are cocktail mixes. Of the rest, many were IPAs that were clearly old -- they must've been tapped months ago and been slowly decaying away, as evidenced by the cardboardy, sweat sock character to the hops on many of the beers. Clearly not in good shape. The clientele is interesting. I was there on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, with macho dude bros pouring themselves full glasses of macro swill. Accordingly, there was loud hip hop and other crappy pop music blasting. Service is friendly but clueless about the beer. All in all, not a great place. You can surely get lots of ticks here, but they'll mostly be shit.“

“This is the tasting room for both the cidery and brewery, with 3 taps devoted to each. The beers were very lame, with a light lager, an egregiously chalky hazy pale, and a slightly less egregious hazy IPA. The ciders slightly better, all flavoured and sweet; the jalapeno one was at least fun. Flights of all 6 available for $12. Very friendly service. But very poor-quality products catered to people who don't really like beer or cider.“

“Along with Bale Breaker, this is one of the top spots in Yakima. Fairly large taplist, with lots of hop-forward stuff. Flights of 3 available for a decent price. Very high-quality beers for the most part. Decent service and a nice expansive tasting room with a large patio. Great stop -- mandatory visit in Yakima.“

“Cool little place near the centre of town, with an intimate, semi-modern tasting room. A dozen or so taps, with flights of however many you want for $2/pour, a screamin' good deal. The beers were largely centred on IPAs, mostly WC's. Varying quality, with a couple above average, a couple below average, and most being middling. Nothing special here, but a pleasant stop for some cheap ticks. Worth a look.“

“Cool little neighbourhood place in what looks like a converted house or office space. They had 12 taps when I visited, with flights of 4 for $8. I wasn't overly enthused with any of the beers: 1 was quite good (the American Stout) and the rest were forgettable. Extremely friendly service and a pleasant place to chill. Not the best beer in Yakima.“

“Small tasting room with limited inside seating and a bit more outside seating. They have 6 taps, with flights of all 6 for $15 -- no option to do single tasters or smaller flights, but the bartender was nice enough to sort me out, so just ask. Ciders are the very sweet kind, loaded with adjuncts and not very refined, but at least no off-notes. These are not at all my kind of ciders. Server was over-the-top friendly, borderline a bit fake, but can't really fault her -- she was adamant on providing the "best customer service experience". Worth a stop when in Yakima, especially if you like the sweeter cider varieties.“

“Fairly large, warehouse-like tasting room, with huge ceilings and plenty of seating. They have 16 beer taps, with flights of 4 available or single 5 oz pours. I grabbed a flight ($11 after tax); bartender was also happy to give free tastes. Beer quality is middling at best -- pretty boring stuff, some not dialed in optimally, but drinkable enough. Not a top spot in Yakima.“

“Finally visited this original location. Huge plot of land, with a nice air conditioned main part of the taproom, plus additional covered seating, and tons of outside seating. Beautifully set-up, modern but not overpolished, and comfortable environment. 16 taps when I visited, with a heavy weighting on dank, WCIPAs -- that made me happy. Flights of 6 available or single pours. Top-notch hop-forward beers; the rest is less impressive. Very friendly service. Mandatory visit when in Yakima, even if you've been to their Seattle location.“

“An upscale bistro with a center bar, lots of wood and lots of seating around, and an open view to the kitchen; watch out for the big ass doors as you enter. Service was decent, quick and friendly for a lunch stop, but not terribly informed on the beer. Beer selection was pretty good, lots of fresh hop and local stuff for hop harvest season. Food was pretty darn good, definitely the star of the show here. A nice spot for slightly upscale pub fare in downtown Yakima.“

“Brand new space in downtown Yakima, fairly centrally located, with a nice industrial chic feel inside and great patio space outside. Service was great, passionate, friendly, and knew every question I asked about the beers on tap. Selection was impressive, again because it was hop harvest season, but very cool to see 5 different collaborations and 4 different fresh hop beers on top of sours, lagers, and pale ales. The best local brewery in downtown Yakima, bring that Bale Breaker is a bit outside of town.“

“Warehouse taproom inside, great patio out back with a pagoda and hop farms as far as the eye can see. Service was quick and friendly, but they were busy for hop harvest and it showed. Selection was better because of hop harvest though, more like 15 different beers on tap, including some collaborations and fresh hop stuff. Food was a taco cart, and smelled great, though I didn't try it. If you ever find yourself out here and you don't stop, you're really missing out.“

“Cozy place in downtown Yakima. Five year round brews and 4 seasonals on tap. Cans, bottles and growlers available in cold case, as well as some Tieton Cider bottles. Quiet, unassuming, decent beer.“

“A warehouse like brewery surrounded by a hop farm, it doesn’t get better. Service was counter and not that chatty, just pleasant. They only had 5 beers, which is the only let down. Most you can find away from the brewery, so not a great ticking place. They have food trucks, which had some of the best BBQ I have had in a while. Samplers and different sized pours are available at a reasonable price. Not a bad place, as their beer is good, just not enough unique beers to keep me coming back.“

“Located in the heart of Yakima and as close to a hole in the wall as you will get. Very low key interior and decor and the focus is on what is being poured. Nice selection of both beer and wine. Great atmosphere. Small place that quickly fills up.“
