68 /100 Old Crown Inn (Bar) BATH ROAD Beautiful village pub, just by the road. We stayed in the bar room which looks classic and traditional, but still neat and modern. They do have a working fireplace. They seem to have a nice garden in the back, but we didn't go to check it out. Seems to be popular with the locals. We were offered to try cheeses from the cheese board which was on the bar. My only issue with this pub is beer selection. Limited to 4 casks, stuff you see around and the ones I've tried were not in best shape. 4 kegs are just the usual macro stuff. |
64 /100 Old Crown Inn (Bar) BATH ROAD Butcombe pubs are generally pretty good and this one is no exception. A friendly local pub on the road from Bath to Bitton. Worth visiting if passing through. UPDATE DECEMBER 2015. No longer owned by Butcombe. |
68 /100 Old Crown Inn (Bar) BATH ROAD Old country pub, they had some Butcombe stuff on tap. It’s cozy and full of locals. Good vibe. |
68 /100 Old Crown Inn (Bar) BATH ROAD A Butcombe pub that keeps the beers in excellent condition. Also has Bass on cask and a few others. A locals place on a country road. |
