56 /100 NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Located in the Newcastle airport international terminal, central bar with three real ale handpulls including Tyne Bank brewery and standard tap and bottle range, a separate spacious bar area called Bar 11 is also near the entrance and had similar selection of taps. OK to spend some time while awaiting flights. |
62 /100 NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT As far as airport bars go, this place isn’t too bad. The relatively large tap selection has some duds, but I also found some nice cask options from Tyne Bank alongside kegged stuff from Brewdog, Havrviestoun, and Erdinger. The bottle selection isn’t bad either - classic Belgians such as La Chouffe were available. Prices were OK considering the location. Wifi and outlets were mercifully in good supply. Overall, not a bad place to kill a few hours before a flight. A superior option to most airport bars. |
