Rigg's Farm Shop (Grocery Store)
ROCHDALE ROAD
“On the main road between Littleborough and Todmorden, with shops and cafe on either side of the street, butt the main area including where the beers and ciders are located is in the garden centre. The food area is located in the main building on the left before you get to the the main garden centre items where a deli and butchers also exists alongside other groceries that you find in a typical farm shop. It's a good one though. Local ales found here are from Eagles Crag and Little Valley, ones I see a lot living in the area, but perhaps not so for visitors from afar, so it's worth a look, backed up by some decent cider options from Thistly Cross and Perry's“

Rigg's Farm Shop (Grocery Store)
ROCHDALE ROAD
“Visited August 2021. It's unusual to get a good farm shop inside a garden centre; this one however is not bad at all. It's got a decent butchers, large deli counter, and loads of local produce. There's about 50 beers and ciders (mainly traditional rather than craft) including large ranges from Eagle's Crag, Naylor's and Little Valley amongst other local-ish micros, and a smattering of German and Belgian brews. Service was friendly enough, prices were maybe a tad on the high side, and there was a bizarre Covid-inspired labyrinth of a one-way system around the entire garden centre to escape (hopefully this will go post-Covid!). Worth dropping in here if you're passing.“

“This pub is close to and visible from the Waggon and Horses just up the road, and opposite the popular Gordon Rigg garden centre in Walsden. The set-up is open plan on the ground floor with the left hand side of the beige brick building being the main pub part with bar and comfortable seating, whilst the right hand-side is a nicely decorated table area set-up for dining with a central fireplace area. There is a small area behind the bar that looks mostly unused. The cramped but agreeably enclosed garden area at the rear includes rabbits in hutches. Worthington’s is the best bitter option from a keg. Although I never had the food I did overhear good compliments between visitors about it.“
