“We visited here Saturday 31st July 2021, this was stop number four of a 35km loop cycle ride that had already taken in Michael Plank Brewery (stop number 1) in Laaber, and Bräu Goss at Deuerling (stop number 2), Eichohofen was the third stop and then we cycled probably our longest stretch to Adlersberg. Bus 12 or 13 from Regensburg will get you here in 35mins quickest with a little walk of 450metres, however you can cycle it marginally quicker by a minute or two and even walking is an option, the brewery is a little under 10km from Regensburg. The brewery is in an elevated position on the edge of the village and you can see Regensburg in the distance from the Biergarten, it really is in a very nice setting. It was a nice day so we sat outside, from a beer perspective we had and a Zwickl (Loz) and I had the Doppelbock, mine was the better, in fact, I was not that impressed with the Zwickl. Sorry for the mini rant but I have to say this is another Kloster/Monastery brewery that I was not that impressed with, the locations are usually great and beers more often than not are very decent, however, it is the continual feeling that I get that these places are always motivated by profit above all else, btw I I have to say the food looked really poor. On the flipside, It was very popular here, as mentioned it is in a nice location, there were lots of families having a great time. It was nice to visit this place but this was by some margin my least favourite brewery visit today.“

“Régnant au sommet d’une colline, avec un biergarden impressionnant et vivant même si nous étions pratiquement seul à notre passage. La sélection maison est amplement ’’sufig’’ et le service efficace mais sévère. Juste pour l’emplacement ça vaut le détour.“

“Beautifully located on a hill not far from Regensburg; two hundred years ago it was a cloister, today - maybe it is better for beer enthusiasts- it is a brewery with its own chapel (!), a hotel, a beer-garden and a nice Gasthof. Their beers belong to the better examples in Lower Bavaria, the beer-garden on the hill-top is one of the most beautiful in this part of Bavaria......... Absolutely worth a detour !“

“This is a drive outside Munich. Situated on a hilltop this is a lovely restaurant & tiny brewery. They make a great dopplebock & sell their beer & glassware to go. Traditional Bavarian meals - Ahhhhhhh“
