“We came here on 6.2.2016. Traditional Bavarian restaurant with brewery. They have 6 beers brewed on site (+1 guest brew) most are Weissbiers: dark, pale, bock, light, kirta and one Pils. They organize many beer events, especially this year during the 500 year anniversary of the purity law. Beers were good, the dark one was served too cold. Service personnel were confused and slow.“

“Visited early on a sunny evening, Saturday 14/07/12 and opted to sit outside. Ventured inside only for the toilet and recall it being a 2 roomed venue, but could have just been one large one with a bar in the centre!?! Very busy outside even at 5pm, family groups, older blokes and a 16 strong hen party turned up on bicycles during our 90 minute session! Service was friendly and prompt, I think our waitress quickly cottoned on that some of us were trying to work our way through the range, whilst others in the party weren’t. She kept coming back to check on us so full credit for that! Full range of seasonals and non-seasonals from the Graminger Weissbrau brewery largely in bottles. Just the Pils and Weisse on tap.Nice countrified setting on the edge of Altoetting, about 15-20 minutes on foot from the Hbf. Food looked good, but didn’t partake.“

“Orterer Getränkemärkte is Bavarian chain of discount stores that sells beers, non-alcololic beverages, mineral waters, etc. It has more than 50 stores all around Bavaria and nearest to Salzburg is the one in Altötting, so that’s why we went there. It’s easy to find, not far from the centre and beer selection is quite good. Lots of German beers and several European macros. Prices are more than reasonable, 26 bottled beers plus one can of Warsteiner Radler paid 21.50€.“
