“A classic Bavarian place, with classic Bavarian food and their own Helles, which is very nice. The interieur is quite beer-themed. Not worth traveling for, but hey, I was bound to be stuck here anyway, and then it’s not bad.“

“We came here on 11.6.2016. A very historic place as the original brewery was set up in the 12th century. Unfortunately the brewery did close a few years ago, however a lot of relicts still are reminiscent of the brewery. A huge brew kettle is in front of the restaurant which is next to the former monastery. We were sitting in the former mash house. The Traunsteiner HB brewery makes a beer exclusively for the restaurant, which is a good lager with some extra malt. The food was outstanding! “
