“We visited here Sunday 9th October 2022. I would guess that if Bucher Bräu Tap and Biergärten is closed then this is one of the next most reliable places to find their beers in town, they have the Helles and maybe one other on tap, and 5 bottles from Bücher Brau plus 3 other bottles including two from Hacklberger who are from Passau IIRC. We sat outside and had a Pumpkin soup and beer, it was a nice day with a busy market in the centre of town. The soup was great and beers (a Pils and a Hefe Weisse) also v.good. Sevice was swift, friendly and whilst I didn't get to look inside as it was such a nice autumnal day, I suspect that it's a decent place, centrally located.“

“I visited here Monday 10th October 2022, actually technically I didn't visit the tap and Biergärten, I actually simply popped into the brewery itself to pick up a few bottles. The brewery is reasonably central, and I suspect that the Biergarten is a pleasant place to while away an hour or two on a warm day. I just went and knocked the office window and asked if I could buy some bottles, then followed the guy into the main brewery area, where we selected 6 assorted bottles for less than €6 total. Beers are pretty good, if the tap is closed there are a few bars/restaurants in town where you can try the beers, we stopped in Grafenau on the Sunday and did just this, I'll add to places shortly.“
