“We visited here Saturday 20th May 2023. The reason that I have added this place is that along with the other biergarten in Lochausen this is in quite a popular Biergarten book which has been published and updated for many, many years. It is about 15 minutes walk from the S-Bahn and you reach it after a short walk through a little bit of woodland. It was early in the Biergarten season, however considering that they had a number of tables reserved, they could have made more of an effort to clear blossom and tree debris from some of the benches and tables, also some of the aforementioned looked in state of disrepair. I can forgive the slow service as this place is signed up to the the slow food movement, I cannot really comment on the food but will add that our bag of mixed nuts was out of date and so was my bottle of Pils, really guys you need to check these things when you open up for the season. There were a few people here, the beers are by the local Maisach brewery, however there are additional beers from other breweries (see link) we were not that impressed with either of the Maisach beers. I should probably revisit sometime as I feel that I am being a little harsh, but all in all it wasn't great.“
