| 66 /100 RIED 11 “We (me, Lynn and Barry) visited here Thursday 28th March 2019. We drove from Dachau it took about quarter of an hour, though looking at public transport options it's not too difficult to find. If you can get to Markt Indersdorf it's a 36 minute walk from the centre or a combination of the 785 bus and also walking can cut the walk down to 21 minutes. The S2 train line from Dachau to Altomünster takes 18 minutes to get to Markt Indersdorf. The brewery and café is down a small road/track off of the st2050 main road. From the outside it appears to have once been (it might still be) a farm, the brewery shop and brewery are on the left and ahead is the café, you walk past a small fenced enclosure with goats and hens, kids will love them. Inside the café/bar there is a rustic feel with wooden beams, plenty of brickwork and wood. A bar is ahead but most folk are here to eat, the demographic appeared to be older folk today but it was a Thursday at 1:45pm so I suspect families are more likely to visit at weekends. We ate here as well the food was fine, reasonably priced, good sized portions and quite traditional, Lynn had Wiener Schnitzel, Barry had a Milzwurst which via Google translate appeared to be a Spleen sausage but when it arrived looked more like sausage mince flattened into a disc and coated in breadcrumbs and fried, I had a sort of cheese and potato cake with salad. The menus appeared to be only German which wasn't a problem. Barry and Lynn had a Marzen and a Helles respectively both from Tobiasbräu and both fine (I had tasters of theirs as I was driving) The shop was on the right on the way out and served all of the breweries beers , once again the prices seemed fair and the staff friendly. They also sold other stuff here as well but we didn't look or linger but I suspect, mustards and that sort of thing were available. “ |
