“We visited the brewery (not the tap, around the corner, that was closed on a Monday) Monday 10th October 2022. It's a sizeable brewery, located very central and alongside the river. There were building works going on nearby when we visited, new apartments being built and the road being dug up so it was a bit of a mess and we had to park further away. You can buy whatever beers are available at the time from the main office area and there was also a fair amount of merchandise available. I purchased six beers and then took my receipt next door where one of the brewery staff went and picked up the six beers for me. I would like to revisit and perhaps head for their taphouse next time. I have to say I like their beers, consistently decent across the range.“

“This is a fairly sizeable brewery with a smallish tap on the main street out front. There is no garden as such, just a few tables on the pavement outside. There are also a couple of rooms inside but, to continue the general theme of this trip, they were empty as, as the weather was good, everyone was outside. Unfortunately, we (well everyone actually) got hassled by a drunk, even though it was only about midday. Not an aggressive drunk, just an irritating one. The barman soon came out and tried to throw the drunk out. Which was a bit of a problem as he was really "out" already, the "patio" just being the few tables on the public footpath. Eventually the drunk staggered off across the road, only to go into a house opposite. Then he started playing heavy metal music at deafening volume and leant out an upstairs window hurling abuse at nobody in particular. We finished our drinks and left. Couldn’t say this was an enjoyable visit, although hardly the fault of the bar or its staff.“
